Career counseling is the process of guiding students on the path to self-discovery and self-realization. We, at SPS-SN, work patiently with the students, support them in weeding out self doubts, and make concrete decisions based on their interests.
"Aspire" sessions are organized across all branches wherein, we invite resource persons from different areas of specialization, and alumni students volunteerily conduct sessions for their juniors.
Individual career guidance sessions are also conducted by in-house subject experts.
Aspire Talk by Dr. Kiran Bedi
An invigorating aspire session was organized at Sagar Public School, Saket Nagar on July 04, 2022. Dr. Kiran Bedi, (retd IPS and former Lt. Governor of Puducherry) addressed the students in an interactive session attended by a large students from other branches of Sagar Public School.
Dr. Bedi called upon the students to stay focused and pick up one idea as their goal. She also provided her insight on how change, choices and principles are the key for success. The principles of Raj Yog, Gyan Yog, Karma Yog and Bhakti Yog as per the teachings of Bhagwat Geeta, were highlighted by her. Respected Chairman Shri Sudhir Kumar Agrawal welcomed Dr. Kiran Bedi by presenting her a stole and memento. Principal. Ms Pankaj Sharma delivered the welcome address.
20 Meritorious students from Class XI, 2021-22 were presented cash awards by Dr. Bedi and Chairman sir. Vice Principal Ms. Shradha Kanungoo proposed a vote of thanks.

Under the aegis of Aspire, the higher secondary students of Sagar Public School were addressed by Mr. Praveen Rao, on August 10, 2022. He is a marketing expert at SAP, India and has worked with major tech companies including D&B, Microsoft and The Times of India. The talk focused on the increasing significance of technology in the world, and how children are playing a major role both knowingly and unknowingly. He apprised the audience with a list of opportunities which are being offered by the exponentially growing sector of data science, and how the students could approach and take these opportunities. Mr. Rao also addressed several technological careers which are not dominantly science based. Several useful resources for getting hands on experience as well as certification were mentioned. Overall, it was a gainful and interactive, an extremely fruitful and educational experience for the students.
Aspire Talk by Dr. Chandrakant Lahariya
A very informative and motivating session was taken by an eminent personality, the renowned Dr. Chandrakant Lahariya on February 20, 2022 on the topic "Aware Parents Are Better Motivators". He is one of Indiaโs leading health professional and COVID-19 and vaccines expert. He has received advanced training in vaccinalogy and immunology. Dr. Lahariya has worked for the World Health Organisation for a period of 14 years. He shared his expertise and knowledge regarding this. This session was attended by a large number of parents.
The session was an eye opener for all. Dr. Lahariya explained how children fall in the least risk bracket as far as Covid-19 goes. He talked about how essential it was for the children to attend physical school for their overall development. He answered all queries raised by concerned parents to their satisfaction.
Aspire Talk by Jagriti Awasthi
Jagriti Awasthi, the young electrical engineer from Bhopal, who emerged as the woman topper and second overall ranker of UPSC Civil Services Exam 2020, addressed the students in an invigorating session held at Sagar Public School, Saket Nagar, on October 06, 2021. She shared her success mantra and told the students that success at the prestigious exam is a combination of both hard and smart work. She told the students that Hard work and self-confidence are key ingredients for achieving success in life. She also answered several questions asked by the students and provided them valuable career guidance. Principal Ms Pankaj Sharma and Director HRD Mr KK Dubey presented a memento to Ms Awasthi as a token of gratitude.
