The National Sports Day was celebrated with great enthusiasm today, August 29, 2024 at Sagar Public School, Katara Extension to commemorate the birth anniversary of Hockey Legend Major Dhyanchand. The Chief Guest for the event was Mr Aamir Ahmed, an International Hockey player, posted in the Department of Public Instruction. The event began with an inspiring address by Madam Principal, emphasizing the importance of sports in fostering teamwork, discipline, and perseverance. The auspicious occasion of Krishna Janmashtami was celebrated with great fervor and enthusiasm at Sagar Public School, Katara Extension. The students of Classes I-III showcased their talent and devotion through a mesmerizing portrayal of Krishna Janam, followed by a vibrant dance performance on his baal leela. The programme commenced with a soulful group song, which set the tone for the festivities. The students then enacted the birth of Lord Krishna, depicting the divine moments with precision and dedication. The highlight of the event was the 'Matki Fod' ceremony, where students broke earthen pots filled with butter, symbolizing Krishna's mischievous antics. स्वतंत्रता दिवस समारोह
"चलो फिर से खुद को जगाएं, स्वतंत्रता के पर्व को उत्साह से मनाएं..." जिस ओर देखो पूरा प्रांगण तिरंगे के रंग से आच्छादित था। रंगीन झंडियां और तिरंगा लहरा लहरा कर स्वतंत्रता दिवस के संदेश को हवा में बिखेर रहा था। बच्चों का उत्साह हवाओं से ज़्यादा वातावरण को मधुमय बना रहा था। सफेद वस्त्रों और तिरंगे के रंगों से सजे परिधान पहने बच्चे और शिक्षक पूरे माहौल को जोश से भर रहे थे। देशभक्ति गीतों ने युवाओं के जोश को दुगना कर दिया था। यह दृश्य था सागर पब्लिक स्कूल कटारा एक्सटेंशन के स्वतंत्रता दिवस समारोह का। यह बात सत्य भी है कि स्वतंत्रता दिवस के उत्सव का स्वाभाविक आनंद केवल विद्यालय में दिखाई पड़ता है। सागर पब्लिक स्कूल कटारा एक्सटेंशन का पूरा प्रांगण मानो खुशियों और उत्साह से सराबोर था। सबसे पहले प्रधानाचार्य सुश्री प्राची वर्मा ने ध्वजारोहण किया और परेड की सलामी ली। प्रधानाचार्य महोदया ने अपने उद्बोधन में स्वतंत्रता दिवस की बधाई देते हुए इसके महत्व पर प्रकाश डाला। कार्यक्रम के अगले चरण में हेड बॉय धनंजय कुमार ने स्वतंत्रता प्राप्त करने के लिए किए गए बलिदानियों के संघर्ष से स्वतंत्रता के अमृत महोत्सव तक की भारत की उपलब्धियों को याद किया। युवा कवि सूर्यांश झा उदित ने अपनी स्वरचित देशभक्तिपूर्ण कविता से युवाओं में जोश जगाया। साथ ही नृत्य के माध्यम से भारत की गौरवमयी इतिहास की झाँकी प्रस्तुत की गई।इसके बाद विद्यालय के विद्यार्थियों ने देशभक्ति गीत और नृत्य से माहौल में उमंग भर दिया। कार्यक्रम के अंत में कल्चरल सेक्रेटरी संचिता ठाकुर ने सभी का धन्यवाद करते हुए, इस जज्बे को हमेशा बनाए रखने पर ज़ोर दिया। मिष्ठान्न वितरण के साथ कार्यक्रम का समापन हुआ।

The ceremony featured the distinguished presence of the Chief Guest Mr. J. S Mathur, retired Secretary Govt. of India and Ex member Real Estate Appellate Tribunal Bhopal, along with Mr. Prachit Kumar Shukla Chief Coach in the Sports and Youth Welfare Department of Madhya Pradesh. The event began with the symbolic lighting of the lamp, representing enlightenment and unity. Esteemed participating schools, including The Sanskar Valley School, Bal Bhawan Public School, Sharda Vidya Mandir, Sage International School, Delhi Public Schools, St. Raphael Co-ed School, Billabong International School, Kamla Nehru School, and Sagar Public Schools from various locations, were warmly welcomed. Foundation Day and Investiture Ceremony
"Celebrating Foundation Day is not just about looking back at our achievements, but also about setting new goals for the future. Together, we build a legacy of excellence." The two most auspicious occasions of SPSKE, the 6th Foundation Day and the Investiture Ceremony were celebrated with great zeal and enthusiasm on July 1, 2024. It was a momentous occasion to reflect on the achievements and growth of the school over the past five years. The event commenced with a captivating dance performance which deeply moved the audience. Madam Principal reflected on the past five years, expressing gratitude and acknowledging the milestones achieved, and growth experienced by the school. She also congratulated the meritorious students and their parents who received scholarship for class X board and XI examination, on this special occasion. On the same day, the school celebrated its Investiture Ceremony. The event was graced by Colonel Shubhash Chand Punia, recipient of Kirti Chakra Award who came for the outreach programme and motivated students to join the defence forces. The newly elected student council and cabinet members participated in a well-coordinated march past and received their prestigious flags, badges, and sashes from the Chief Guest, Director Dubey Sir, Principal, Vice-Principal, and Head Mistresses. The student council took a solemn oath to dispense their duties with integrity, faith, and excellence. The chief guest congratulated the teachers for their efforts in shaping future generations and advised students to respect their parents, devote time to academics, and work hard to achieve their goals. He also urged the audience to use helmets for their safety. Amidst a backdrop of anticipation and excitement, SPSKE welcomed back its students for the commencement of the 2024-25 academic session. The atmosphere within the school premises was nothing short of vibrant, with every corner exuding a sense of rejuvenation and vitality. As the gates swung open, students from IV to Class XII flooded on April 1, 2024, infusing the campus with their youthful energy and enthusiasm. The senior students took the lead, and the corridors echoed with laughter and chatter as friends reunited and new bonds were formed. On April 3, 2024, the school once again came alive as Nursery to III students joined their older counterparts. A special touch awaited the students as they entered the school gates. Basant Panchmi marks the beginning of the joyous season of spring. The young Sagarities, at SPSKE, celebrated this festival to honour Goddess Saraswati, the Goddess of knowledge, music and learning. The day began with a special pooja and children of Class III had the opportunity to start writing in new, decorated copy and pen to begin a new phase of their academic journey. The Principal, Ms. Prachi Varma presented the Annual Report ,charting a comprehensive overview of the school's achievements, milestones, and academic progress. The event culminated with a powerful grand finale, celebrating India's emergence as Vishwa guru. ‘The Vote of Thanks’ was extended by the Vice Principal, Ms. Deepika Raj Bhagat followed by the National anthem. Judokas unite to concentrate on one goal: Victory! Go harder, go stronger, and go faster than you ever have before… AND — keep your cool. I'm going to make the most of every opportunity. An Inter-house Judo competition brought together participants from classes IV to X, showcasing the embodiment of zeal, determination, and discipline. The atmosphere was charged with the spirit of healthy competition and sportsmanship, as the students embraced the core principles of Judo both on and off the mat. In the arena, the participants displayed a symphony of Judo techniques, each move carrying the weight of tradition and the echoes of etiquette upheld by this ancient Japanese martial art. The unwavering commitment of the students was further honed under the watchful eye of our dedicated Judo coach, who skillfully nurtured their techniques and abilities. Independence Day Celebration 2023
स्वतंत्रता दिवस के शुभ अवसर पर स्वतंत्रता सेनानियों का स्मरण कर सागर में उमड़ी देशभक्ति की लहरें देश भक्ति गीतों की स्वर लहरियाँ स्वातंत्र्य पर्व की गरिमा बढ़ा रही थी। नन्हे मुन्नों के माथे और गालों पर बनी तीन रंगों की छाप तिरंगे की आन बान शान की झलक के साथ देश के प्रति श्रद्धा भाव व्यक्त कर रही थी। देश के शीर्ष पर चमकते हिमालय की तरह तिरंगा अपने शिखर से बंधा था, प्रतीक्षा थी उन क्षणों की जब इसे मुक्त कर खुली हवा में स्वतंत्र कर दिया जाएगा और चारों ओर ये पंक्तियाँ गुंजायमान होंगी... दिनों दिन बुलंदियों पर तिरंगा चढ़ता रहें। तिरंगे के लिए हमारे दिल में हर पल प्यार बढ़ता रहें।। अवसर था सागर पब्लिक स्कूल, कटारा एक्सटेंशन ,भोपाल में 77 वें स्वतंत्रता दिवस पर्व के आयोजन का। सागर परिवार का प्रत्येक सदस्य देश भक्ति ,देश प्रेम से ओतप्रोत था। प्राचार्या महोदया ने ओजमई राष्ट्रगान के साथ झंडा वंदन किया। उनके प्रेरक उद्बोधन से प्रेरणा लेकर सभी ने स्वतंत्रता की रक्षा का संकल्प लिया। जहाँ एक ओर देश भक्ति गीत, हिंदी कविता, समूह नृत्य जैसी सांस्कृतिक गतिविधियों की श्रृंखला ने समा बांधा तो दूसरी ओर हेड बॉय चिराग मालवीय के ओजस्वी भाषण ने सबमें जोश भर दिया। अंत में प्राचार्या महोदया ने विद्यार्थियों को देश के प्रति निष्ठा एवं जिम्मेदारी निभाने का संकल्प दिलाया। मिष्ठान्न वितरण के साथ कार्यक्रम का समापन हुआ।

The open dialogue allowed parents to actively engage in their child's education and provided teachers with valuable feedback. “Joyful Learning Journeys”: Innovative Holiday Homework for Pre-primary and Lower Primary students was displayed in the quadrangle and parents were impressed by the creativity. It was heartening to see parents appreciating their ward’s accomplishments. Also, the Orientation Programme for Class XI was well-attended, with enthusiastic parents present to gain insights into their child's academic journey in the upcoming year. Parents were provided an overview of the school's academic structure, examination pattern, school's disciplinary guidelines, scholarship opportunities, promotion policy, and conduction of CUET/ CLAT classes. This open communication played a crucial role in building a collaborative environment between parents and teachers.

“Dancing is like a conversation between two people! Talk, Express yourself, and Enjoy the moment.” Inter House Dance Competition was organised on August 2, 2023, for the students of Classes VI to VIII. The theme for this year's competition was "International Dances” Irish dance, Russian ballet, African dance, and Spanish dance promised a vibrant fusion of cultures through the art of dance. The competition aimed not only to entertain but also to promote cross-cultural understanding and appreciation which was successfully achieved by creating a fun environment promoting teamwork and enthusiasm amongst Sagarites. Mr. Milind Dabhade expertise in contemporary, Hip-hop, Old School, Afro Dance style, and Bollywood, and Ms. Richa Rathore brought their discerning expertise to the forefront, carefully evaluating each dance performance with a keen eye for technique, cultural authenticity, and artistic interpretation, ensuring a fair and insightful assessment of the captivating fusion. Vivekanand House bagged the first position and the runner-up team was Gandhi House.

'Walking in time and swaying in the magic of historical days Made everyone excited and gay' One of the much-awaited events, English Day, was celebrated on July 26, 2023, for classes IV to XI. The enthusiastic participants made the vibrant audience walk down the memory lane showcasing the history of English through enticing presentations. The magic of the Anglo-Saxon Period was spread through Chaucer's unforgettable contribution to language. The play 'The Tragedy of Dr. Faustus' shook the audience with dreary dances of monsters and bold baritones of the characters belonging to the Renaissance Period. A rendezvous with the writers of Neo- Classical period like John Milton and Daniel Defoe made the audience understand the different shades of writing of their time. Wordsworth and Keats entranced everyone with their mellifluous melodies and pioneering poems written in the Romantic Period. The soulful drama depiction of 'A Christmas Carol' captured the essence of the Victorian Period. The mime on A Doll's House by Henrik Ibsen" created a visually stunning and emotionally charged experience that marked the era of The Modern Period. The Contemporary Period projected different issues and explored themes that are relevant in the present scenario. An enchanting musical performance filled the audience with a kaleidoscope of emotions. आज दिनांक-19/7/23 को सागरपब्लिकस्कूल कटारा एक्सटेंशन में श्रीमद्भगवद्गीता श्लोक-गायन प्रतियोगिता का आयोजन किया गया। इस प्रतियोगिता में कक्षा-6,7, 8 के चारों सदनों अरविन्दो, गान्धी, विवेकानन्द और टैगोर के छात्रों ने भाग लिया। इस प्रतियोगिता में छात्र विशिष्ट वेशभूषा धारण करके सम्मिलित हुए।इस प्रतियोगिता का मञ्च सञ्चालन करनेवाले छात्रों का आत्मविश्वास देखते ही बनता था। प्रतियोगिता में छात्रों ने 10-10 श्लोकों का गायन बिना किसी बाधा के पूर्ण आत्मविश्वास के साथ किया।समस्त प्रतियोगी छात्रों ने श्लोक प्रस्तुत करने से पूर्व अपना परिचय संस्कृत में दिया।इस प्रतियोगिता में सम्मिलित होनेवाले छात्रों के कौशल को देखकर विद्यालय की प्राचार्या एवम् निर्णायकों ने भूरि-भूरि प्रशंसा की। प्रतियोगिता के अन्त में कक्षा नवमीं के छात्रों ने सबका आभार व्यक्त किया ।इस प्रकार यह प्रतियोगिता पूर्णउत्साह के साथ सम्पन्न हो गयी।

ASPIRE SESSION
It has been rightly quoted by one of the greatest mountaineers Sir Edmund Hillary “It is not the mountain we conquer, but ourselves”! An ASPIRE Session by Ms. Jyoti Ratre –a woman of great mettle and strength, a successful entrepreneur, and an acclaimed mountaineer was organised for the students of classes VI to IX. Ms Jyoti scaled many peaks and the first Indian woman of 54 years to have achieved many feats. She inspired and motivated the students to explore their potential, overcome challenges, and embrace an adventurous spirit through the experiences and stories shared by her. She emphasized the importance of goal-setting, and perseverance, embracing fear and viewing it as an opportunity for personal growth, not giving up, learn from their failures, and should not deter from pursuing dreams. Overall, the mountaineering session left an indelible mark on the hearts and minds of the children, reminding them that with determination and perseverance, they can conquer any peak they set their sights on, both literally and metaphorically

MATHS MARATHON
"The study of Mathematics is like the Nile, begins with minuteness but ends in magnificence" Easier said than done, Math quiz is an excellent way of finding how well the apprentice understands its concepts. To promote and encourage the fun way of learning among sagarites, an Inter-House Math Marathon was conducted for classes IV & V on 12th July 2023. A team of 4 students from each house participated with full exhilaration and vitality. The quiz involved presenting students with real-life mathematical problems that required logical thinking and problem-solving skills. Participants had to devise strategies and find solutions to these problems within a given time limit. The competition enhanced team play, learning from counterparts besides building competitive spirits among teams. Toward the end of the quiz, an audition round was conducted to encourage participation from students sitting in the audience. Have a look!

TAGORE HOUSE ASSEMBLY
Unveiling the Marvels of Mahabalipuram: Students took the Assembly by Storm In a world dominated by technological advancements and digital distractions, it is heartening to witness young minds still enthralled by the wonders of history and culture. Students of Tagore House had the unique opportunity to represent an assembly on the topic of the magnificent Mahabalipuram . Their passionate portrayal shed light on the historical and architectural significance of this UNESCO World Heritage Site, captivating their fellow students and teachers alike. Students delved into the rich tapestry of ancient Indian culture, and brought it to life through their presentation. Students highlighted the breathtaking features of the complex, including the Shore Temple, Pancha Rathas (Five Rathas), and the famous Arjuna's Penance. They described how these monuments blend elements of Dravidian and Pallava architecture, seamlessly integrating religious and cultural symbolism. Their captivating presentations and performances not only educated their peers but also ignited a sense of wonder and appreciation for the rich historical and cultural heritage of India.

5th Investiture ceremony
Leadership is not wielding authority, it is empowering people." Sagar Public School, Katara Extension celebrated its 5th Investiture ceremony on July 5,2023. This joyous occasion was graced with the benign presence of Wing Commander , An Alumni of the Air Force Academy and Air force technical college. A spirit of unity and dynamism filled the air as the Grand Ceremony commenced with the Lighting of the auspicious Lamp of Knowledge The Principal Ms. Prachi Varma welcomed the esteemed chief guest, and parents and incited the office bearers to be exemplary in behaviour, to work with utmost sincerity, and create a culture of compassion and reverence, not only for teachers, support staff, parents and guests but also for fellow Sagarites The well-coordinated march past by the newly elected cabinet members and student council was a feast to the eyes. The newly elected student council received their prestigious Flag, badge and sash from the Chief Guest, Principal, Vice-Principal and Head Mistresses. The cabinet of the school took the solemn oath with a promise that they would dispense out their duties with integrity, faith and excellence. It was a proud moment for all the Parents to witness their children being invested with great responsibilities while embarking on a new journey as leaders. The chief guest of the occasion congratulated and appreciated the efforts put by the teachers for shaping future generations. He urged students to compete with themselves than with others. He also gave examples from his experiences motivating students to invest time in their hobbies than in digital gadgets. The Head Boy, Chirag Malviya in his speech officially accepted the duties and responsibilities on behalf of the student council of the school and Head Girl, Akshainie Sarkar proposed the Vote of thanks. The programme culminated with the school anthem and jubilation.

International Yoga Day, 2023

On the occasion of International Yoga Day, 2023, students of Classes VI and VII SPSKE, participated in a Yoga session today.The session aimed to promote the physical, mental, and spiritual benefits of yoga among students.A series of gentle warm-up exercises, including stretching and breathing techniques helped all to relax and focus on the upcoming yoga poses. Students were made aware that-Yoga is an invaluable gift of India's ancient tradition. This tradition is 5000 years old. It embodies the unity of mind and body; thought and action; restraint and fulfillment; harmony between man and nature. By changing our lifestyle and creating consciousness, it can help in well-being. Let us work towards adopting Yoga for Health and Well-Being.

Sports Summer Camp
“Camp is where I learned about me, facing fears, trying new things, pushing my boundaries, and accepting myself.” Sports Summer Camp commenced on May 1, 2023, at SPSKE with elation. The eagerness of the parents to drop their little campers and the delight on the children’s faces was proof enough that this Summer Camp was the place to experience playfulness, explore various sports and activities, challenge themselves to try new things and make memories that will last a lifetime. Honorable Chief Guest, Mr. D.S Dhurvey, District Sports Officer DSO of Bhopal District, inaugurated the summer camp 2023. From his valuable expertise and insights, he guided young sportsmen to strive for excellence in their lives and accomplish remarkable feats. He expressed appreciation for the school’s infrastructure and the sports facilities provided to the students. Madam Principal also addressed the gathering and assured all that whether the campers are seasoned athletes or just starting, this camp would be a perfect place to learn, grow, and have fun. ‘CHILDREN SPORTS FESTIVAL’
The Ministry of Women and Child Development, Govt. of India is celebrating ‘Children Sports Festival’ under Azadi ka Amrit Mahotsav in the month of April 2023. Under this initiative our school organised an Indoor carrom event for classes of Grade XI and a Mini Marathon for classes of grade VIII to celebrate this Children Sports Festival. The event was organised at the school level in school premises on 26th and 27th April 2023. Respected Principal madam encouraged the runners of the marathon with few motivating words and flagged off the marathon. Respected Vice Principal madam along with the Sports Dept. were present at the start of event leading to a successful organization of ‘Children Sports Festival’ under Azadi ka Amrit Mahotsav.

"Beat the Heat"
It was a bright, sunny day. The atmosphere at the school was full of happiness. The play area was blooming with the cheerful voices of the little ones. The smile on the faces of little Sagarites was immensely magical, as every child was enjoying the summer party "Beat the Heat" organized in the school. Beautifully dressed in summer attire, the children enjoyed the ramp walk, the dance, playing in the sand pit, and relishing the lemonade and watermelon. It was indeed a pleasure to see the children learning about the season in a very fun way.

World Earth Day
World Earth Day was celebrated in the portals of SPSKE through various activities at different levels. "When we honour the earth, we honour ourselves." Keeping this thought in mind, our imaginative sagarites of class I were excited to see the blooming flowers all around and appreciated the beauty of nature. On the other hand, Class II made paper bags and emphasized the 4 R's: Reuse, Reduce, Recycle, and Refuse. Students of Classes III to V wrote pledge, reused waste bottles and created a bird feeder from it. Also, the students made placards to create awareness regarding save energy and water.. Students of class X B conducted a morning assembly on the topic: THE WORLD EARTH DAY: THERE IS NO PLANET-B The 2023 theme of World Earth Day is “Invest in our planet” which aims to spread the message of making efforts to save our planet far and wide. Students spread awareness regarding the importance of saving Mother Earth through a short Nukkad Natak which delivered a very strong message regarding the importance of cleanliness and hygiene. The pledge to safeguard Mother Earth was taken by all. The assembly was concluded with a motivating message from Madam Principal.

PTM
"Take pride in how far you have come and faith in how far you can go." As the session drew to its close, the final PTM was conducted for classes Nursery to grade IX on March 18, 2023. The PTM was kickstarted with the lightening of the lamp, thereby seeking blessings of God. The parents and students thronged the premises to collect the final report card of their wards and to take constructive feedback for their children. The hard work of the teachers and parents bore fruitful results and parents were gratified to see the progress of their wards. The PTM also marked the beginning of the upcoming session with renewed hope and synergy. Important information regarding the next session was disseminated to the parents so that the students and parents acclimatise themselves with the new changes and embrace them whole-heartedly. In a nutshell, the year-end PTM culminated the session on a joyous note.

National trip
When you travel with your children you are giving them something that can never be taken away: EXPERIENCE, EXPOSURE & A WAY OF LIFE!!!! The students of classes V to IX went on a National Trip to the Vibrant state of Gujarat: a city of rich heritage and cultural traditions. On the first day, students visited Science City, the science exhibits were underwhelming. It was a knowledge hub for the students. The other attraction was Robotic gallery. ISKCON Temple and Kankariya lake was also visited on the first day of the trip. A visit to Akshardham Temple was an enriching experience. Whether it was in realizing the power of prayer, in feeling the strength of non-violence, in becoming aware of the universal nature of Hinduism’s ancient principles. Each element of the temple echoed with spirituality – the mandir, the exhibitions and even the gardens. Rani ki Vav the finest and one of the largest examples of stepwell architecture in Gujarat, this stepwell is designed as an inverted temple highlighting the sanctity of water. Students learnt about the architectural techniques of the ancient times and was awestruck when guide told important facts about the design and structure. The famous tourist attraction “Statue of Unity”, the largest statue in the world which pays tribute to Sardar Vallabh Bhai Patel and his contribution was also a part of the trip. Students enjoyed the night Laser show that added to the beauty of the statue. Students also learnt about Maharaja Sayajirao Gaekwad III, who ruled the Baroda State and built the magnificent grand structure and India’s biggest architectural marvel the Laxmi Vilas Palace located at Vadodara, Gujarat. The visit was pleasurable, informative, interesting and successful for the students which gave them a lot of pleasure, learning and will help them in future to a great extent. Parents Orientation 2023
"Education is a shared commitment between dedicated teachers, motivated students and enthusiastic parents with high expectations." With the aim of familiarizing the new parents with the School Systems, a Parents' Orientation Session was conducted at SPSKE on March 16, 2023. The Session began with the traditional Lamp Lighting Ceremony. The Session was initiated by Principal Madam, Ms. Prachi Varma wherein she gave a brief introduction about the Sagar Group and the philosophy of SPS. The parents of classes I to IX were acquainted with the School Systems and Assessment policy. Montessori System was introduced to the parents of Nursery - K.G.II. The Session ended with an Open House wherein the parents' concerns and issues were addressed. The Orientation Session provided a wonderful opportunity to the school to welcome the new parents and their wards into the SPS Family.

2nd Annual Sports Meet
" SPS has never spared an effort in encouraging sports among students " On the 3rd of December, SPSKE hosted its 2nd Annual Sports Meet, a day filled with fervour and excitement experienced amidst thrills, shrills and cheers. The chief guest for the day was the Secretary Swimming association, a former national player of Swimming, Mr. Ram Kumar Khilrani. The day started off with a lovely rendition by the choir followed by the arrival of the mascot of Khelo India-Asha. This was followed by the Inter-House March Past, a highly competitive event where the four houses marched in a contingent with alertness and unspoken coordination. The displays made way for the highly awaited athletic events where competitiveness among the students soared through the roof. At the end of the day, students departed with clear smiles on their faces as the Tagore House emerged to be Sports Champions and Aurobindo house bagged the overall championship. It was a day filled with sportsmanship, enthusiasm and memories to cherish. The Principal congratulated the Sports department for the successful event and advised the children to keep up their sportsman spirit.

Republic Day Celebration
Republic Day Celebration. It is the same India which has withstood the shocks of centuries, of hundreds of foreign invasions of hundreds of upheavals of manners and customs. It is the same land which stands firmer than any rock in the world, with its undying vigor, indestructible life. Its life is of the same nature as the soul, without beginning and without end, immortal; and we are the children of such a country. With this feeling the students and staff of SPS KE celebrated 74th Republic Day on Jan 26, 2023. To exhibit the spirit of nationality, the national flag was unfurled by respected Principal madam. A cultural program was presented by the young and dynamic Sagarites. A skit was performed depicting the importance of Republic Day; how the constitution of India was constructed and operates. The program culminated with an enlightening speech by Principal madam, cultural dance highlighting the gallant life of Prithviraj Chauhan and distribution of refreshment packets.

Vasant Panchami
Vasant Panchami is a festival dedicated to the goddess Saraswati, the goddess of knowledge, language, music, and all the arts. The season and festival also celebrate the agricultural fields' ripening with the yellow flowers of the mustard crop, which are associated with Saraswati's favourite colour. To mark the advent of the spring season and to worship Saraswati Ji, the Goddess of knowledge and wisdom, the young enthusiasts of classes Nursery to III celebrated "Blooming Spring" on January 25, 2023, with full festivity. They began the day by praying and offering yellow flowers to Goddess Saraswati, the Divine Benefactor of Knowledge and Wisdom. Dressed in yellow clothes, they welcomed the spring season, marked by Basant Panchmi, and celebrated by savouring yellow-coloured food for lunch. They sang the Saraswati Vandana and received Prasad. The day was enlightened by the blessings of Maa Saraswati.

Prize to akshat on time travel Akshat Malviya, a student of class 9 of Sagar Public School Katara Hills Extension has been awarded on his poem "Time-Travel". The award was awarded at the Bhopal Literature Festival organized by Manjula Prakashan Bhopal on 15 January 2023. In the prize, he was awarded Rs 5000/-, books published by the institution and manifesto. On this occasion in Abhirang of Bharat Bhavan, Akshat also recited his poem Samay Yatra. Notable that the Bhopal Literature Festival is a prestigious event, which lasted for three days. BLF has been organizing this literature program for the past five years. On the second day of the program, famous film actor Kabir Bedi's book was also released. Sagar family congratulates Akshat on this occasion and wishes him all the best for his future literary journey.

Maths Day 2022
“Numbers do speak”! Ramanujan To commemorate the contributions of Srinivasa Ramanujan in the history of Mathematics, National Mathematics Day was celebrated at SPSKE with fervor and vivacity. Learning Mathematics by Hands-On Activities was the major highlight of the celebration. The day was marked by Cultural programmes, followed by Maths exhibition put up by students of classes III – V. The students made different models both still as well as working models. Enthusiastic Sagarites enthralled the audience with their intriguing models, charts and stallsand were appreciated for their eye to detail and vigour explanation of the nuances of maths in a very simple yet effective manner. To enhance the thinking and math problem solving skills of the young Sagarites, plethora of virtual activities were planned by the teachers for the students of classes VI – VIII. Students of classes IX and X explained the Mathematical concepts through powerful Power point presentations. Mathematical atmosphere was adored by all. Christmas Celebration 2022
The dawn of winter marks the arrival of the eve of Christmas. Christmas is a time of celebration and a great opportunity to teach children some important values. The students of classes Nursery to III had an absolutely wonderful and unforgettable Christmas celebration. The essence of the day came alive when everybody shared the merriment of giving, sharing, and coming together. Children joyously decorated the Christmas tree and presented a skit along with Christmas carols and dance, followed by a Santa Claus dance. They learned that Christmas is not just about receiving and exchanging gifts and decorating houses; it also imparts the message of loving, caring, sharing, and showing compassion towards the less fortunate. Recognizing the role of parents and the wider family in shaping child's life experiences, SPSKE organized Me and My Family event for classes Nursery to ll on November 5, 2022. The event featured some funfilled competitions providing children and their guardians a platform to demonstrate their talent and apply their skills. Various recreational activities were a major part of the event and developed life skills while having a great time.It was indeed rewarding to witness parents and children participating with much enthusiasm and vigour. The day came alive with some rejoicing moments wherein children with their family members clicked selfies and captured their best moments.The event concluded with the prize distribution and thanksgiving ceremony.

Dussehra Celebration
"When you witness the burning effigy of Ravana, remember that all your worries and anxieties will burn with it and pave the way for happiness and excitement in your life and those around you." With ardour and fervour Sagarities celebrated the triumph of Lord Ram over Evil. The event commenced with focusing on the significance of Dussehra festival . Celebration potrayed various pageant of Ram's exile, Sita's abduction and finally Ram's victory over evil Ravana. This epic spiritual celebration filled the quadrangle with cheers and applauds. It was concluded with an idea " There is no denying that there is evil in this world but the light will always conquer the darkness."

Grand Parents Day, 17 Sep 22
On September 17, 2022, the blooming buds of classes Nursery to KG-II at Sagar Public School, Katara Extension, celebrated Grandparents Day with lots of joy and frolic to honour their grandparents. The celebration began with the ceremonial lighting of the lamp, followed by many electrifying performances by the adorable children. The tiny dancers, who were decked up in vibrant costumes, thrilled the audience with their dance performance. The grandparents relived their childhood with the grandchildren through a scintillating mime titled "Yaadon ke Jharokhon se." The cherry on top was the special role-play by the tiny Sagarites, portrayed as their grandparents. The success of the extravaganza was evident through the joyful smiles of the overwhelmed grandparents. Our director, Shri K. K Dubey Sir, praised the school's efforts in organising the magnificent event and reiterated the significance of values and the abundant love and support that grandparents offer. The principal, Ms Prachi Varma, addressed the audience and thanked the grandparents for their role in upholding our tradition. Ms Arpita Karmalkar, the headmistress, proposed the Vote of Thanks. Indeed, the little Sagarites exhibited a divine garden with their magnificent performances.
