A Special Cleanliness Session by Sagar Multispeciality Hospital Team @SPSKE
Today SPSKE buzzed with excitement as we welcomed a special cleanliness session by Nursing team from Sagar Multispeciality Hospital headed by Ms Violet Chatterjee the Deputy Nursing Superintendent. The session was designed to empower our young learners with the knowledge of hygiene, particularly the crucial act of handwashing. The session, brimming with interactive activities and engaging visuals, aimed to instil in the children the understanding that clean hands are their first line of defence against germs and illness. Parent Pulse held for Classes VI & VII
As part of our continued effort to strengthen the school-home partnership, an engaging Parent Pulse Programme was conducted for the parents of Classes VI and VII, today, 19 July, 2025. A major part of the session was dedicated to crucial topics such as emotional regulation and mental health of students; addressing behavioural concerns at home and school; identifying and managing adolescence issues; exploring different parenting styles and their influence; enhancing parent-child communication strategies; and building a nurturing and supportive environment for children’s growth.Parents actively engaged in discussions, shared experiences, and gained practical tips to support their child’s journey—emotionally, socially, and academically. Foundation Day and Investiture Ceremony
Sagar Public School, Katara Extension celebrated its Foundation day along with the much-awaited Investiture Ceremony on 1st of July, 2025. The event was graced by the Chief guest, Col Narendra Ola. The ceremony began with the ceremonial lighting of the lamp. The highlight of the ceremony was the administration of the oath of office to the elected student council members. The Chief Guest gave away the badges to the student council office bearers. Meritorious students of Classes XI and XII were felicitated for their outstanding results in the 2024-25 session. The program also featured a classical dance performance and a melodious song by the school choir. The Foundation Day and Investiture Ceremony fostered a sense of community, responsibility and environmental consciousness that will continue to resonate in the hearts of the audience present there. Closing Ceremony of Sports Summer Camp 2025
The Closing Ceremony of Sports Summer Camp was observed on May 31, 2025 at Sagar Public School, Katara Extension. \r\nThe ceremony started with a welcome note from Madam Prachi Varma, Principal SPS KE highlighting the importance of sports in the holistic development of all students. \r\nThe event was graced by Dr Shipra Srivastava, Assistant Director with the Department of Sports and Youth Welfare (M.P.) as Chief Guest. \r\nDr Shipra Srivastava appreciated the foresightedness of school's authority to provide a unique platform for students to nurture their talents and imbibing sportsmanship. \r\nIn the following minutes, the Chief Guest mentioned that the parents are potters for their children who can shape their growth as beautiful as they can.\r\nThe ceremony continued with prize distribution for the best campers in different sports activities, and successfully came to a frolicking end.\r\nHave a look at the glimpses!

The event aimed to honor the richness of the English language and pay tribute to the legendary playwright, William Shakespeare, whose timeless works continue to inspire students and literature lovers around the world. The program began with a PPT presentation showcasing contributions of Shakespeare to the English language. PTM-I for the Session 2025-26
*Building a Strong Parent-Teacher Partnership*At Sagar Public School, Katara Extension, we believe that education is a collaborative journey between parents and teachers. This spirit of partnership was beautifully reflected during the Parents Teachers Meeting held on *Saturday, April 26, 2025*, for Classes Nursery to XII. The PTM saw active participation from parents, highlighting their dedication to their children’s education. World Heritage Day Celebration
Heritage is a present from our ancestors, respect it, preserve it. Our heritage serves as a reminder of our history. It is a national treasure as well as a symbol of the civilization pride. In accordance with this thought the students of classes VI-VIII of Katara Extension celebrated the World Heritage Day and presented amazing facts about different monuments and temples through mesmerizing presentation and role play which reflected the spirit of our rich historical past and the importance of preserving it for future.
