The auspicious occasion of Krishna Janmashtami was celebrated with great fervor and enthusiasm at Sagar Public School, Katara Extension. The students of Classes I-III showcased their talent and devotion through a mesmerizing portrayal of Krishna Janam, followed by a vibrant dance performance on his baal leela. The programme commenced with a soulful group song, which set the tone for the festivities. The students then enacted the birth of Lord Krishna, depicting the divine moments with precision and dedication. The highlight of the event was the 'Matki Fod' ceremony, where students broke earthen pots filled with butter, symbolizing Krishna's mischievous antics. The excitement was palpable as the students cheered and chanted "Hare Krishna Hare Rama" during the ceremony. The celebration culminated with a grand Maha Aarti, where the students and teachers came together to offer prayers and gratitude to Lord Krishna. The auditorium resonated with devotional songs and chants, creating a spiritual ambiance. The event was graced by the presence of our esteemed Director,Dubey sir, Principal, Vice Principal, and teachers, who encouraged and appreciated the students' efforts.
