When you travel with your children you are giving them something that can never be taken away: EXPERIENCE, EXPOSURE & A WAY OF LIFE!!!! The students of classes V to IX went on a National Trip to the Vibrant state of Gujarat: a city of rich heritage and cultural traditions. On the first day, students visited Science City, the science exhibits were underwhelming. It was a knowledge hub for the students. The other attraction was Robotic gallery. ISKCON Temple and Kankariya lake was also visited on the first day of the trip. A visit to Akshardham Temple was an enriching experience. Whether it was in realizing the power of prayer, in feeling the strength of non-violence, in becoming aware of the universal nature of Hinduism’s ancient principles. Each element of the temple echoed with spirituality – the mandir, the exhibitions and even the gardens. Rani ki Vav the finest and one of the largest examples of stepwell architecture in Gujarat, this stepwell is designed as an inverted temple highlighting the sanctity of water. Students learnt about the architectural techniques of the ancient times and was awestruck when guide told important facts about the design and structure. The famous tourist attraction “Statue of Unity”, the largest statue in the world which pays tribute to Sardar Vallabh Bhai Patel and his contribution was also a part of the trip. Students enjoyed the night Laser show that added to the beauty of the statue. Students also learnt about Maharaja Sayajirao Gaekwad III, who ruled the Baroda State and built the magnificent grand structure and India’s biggest architectural marvel the Laxmi Vilas Palace located at Vadodara, Gujarat. The visit was pleasurable, informative, interesting and successful for the students which gave them a lot of pleasure, learning and will help them in future to a great extent. Please have a look on some of our beautiful memories of the National trip.
