Orientation Session for Classes VI-VIII
To kickstart the new academic Session 2025–26 with clarity and collaboration, an Orientation Programme was conducted for the parents of students in Classes VI to VIII.\r\nThe session was started with the traditional Lamp Lightning ceremony followed by the comprehensive introduction to the school’s system and ethos. \r\nParents were briefed on the curriculum structure, assessment patterns, school rules and regulations, as well as the various facilities and technologies integrated into our teaching-learning process. \r\nThe programme also shed light on the support systems available for students and the seamless communication channels between school and home.\r\nIn addition, parents were informed about the integrated classes offered for students of Classes IX to XII — a step towards ensuring focused academic preparation and holistic development in the senior years.\r\nThe session was conducted by Vice Principal,Headmistress and the Section Supervisors.\r\nThe session witnessed active participation from parents during the Open House hour, reflecting a shared commitment to the students’ growth and success. \r\nWe look forward to a fruitful and enriching academic year ahead!\r\nLets have a look at the glimpses!

Final PTM for Session 2024-25
"A key to child's success is the positive involvement of parents"\r\nFinal PTM for the Session 2024-25 for classes Nursery to VIII was conducted at SPSKE on Wednesday 26th March, 2025 . Parents of students met the concerned educators to get clarity on the performance of their wards. Teachers interacted with parents making them aware about their children’s strength and area of improvement.\r\nThe Report Card for Final Term was handed over to the parents and answer sheets were also shown to them. Various suggestions given by the parents were noted. The students were counseled in the presence of their parents to develop regular study habit.\r\nThe PTM came to an end with the conclusion that joint effort, mutual understanding and co-operation of parents and teachers is very important for the progress of the students.\r\nHave a look at the glimpses!

Orientation Programme for the new parents for the Session 2025-26
Sagar Public School, Katara Extension organised an Orientation Programme for the new parents for the Session 2025-26 on Saturday, March 22nd, 2025 in order to familiarize them with the school systems. \r\nThe essence of the auspicious day was showcased stressing on the firm belief in education and the overall development of young minds. The programme commenced with the lighting of the lamp to begin the new Academic Session 2025-26 with the divine blessings of God Almighty. Principal Ms.Prachi Varma enlightened the parents with her address stressing on the school’s vision of being progressive and child centric. In her dynamic speech she unfolded the school ethos, philosophy and broad practices of the school.She also briefed about the Sagar Group. \r\nThe Vice Principal and the Head Mistresses of all the sections presented a detailed description of the learning parameters and the teaching and learning pedagogy followed in the school. \r\nThe session concluded with an Open House session in which Madam Principal readily answered the questions of the parents. Graduation Ceremony - KG II
What a wonderful and heartwarming day it has been at the Graduation Ceremony ????for the students of Class KG II! \r\nThe event started with a beautiful Swagat Vandan, setting the tone for a day filled with joy and celebration. Our little stars showcased their growth and learning through a delightful skit where they portrayed their teachers, giving everyone a glimpse into the knowledge they’ve gained throughout the year. The children brought the stage to life with vibrant performances, including dances in Punjabi and Marathi, reflecting the languages they’ve been learning in their Multilingual Classes. Their infectious energy and joy truly made the event special! \r\nA touching moment came when the children sang a heartfelt thank-you song, expressing their love and appreciation for their teachers. The school was honoured to have Mr. Manoj Kukreja as the chief guest, who motivated the students with inspiring words, encouraging them to keep striving for greatness. Madam Principal, Ms. Prachi Varma, also addressed the students, sharing her wisdom and urging them to always embrace learning with open hearts. Republic Day Celebration
*भारत का गणतंत्र विश्व के लिए मिसाल*\r\nअभी ध्वज फहराया नहीं गया था, पर चारों ओर तिरंगे की धूम मची हुई थी। बच्चों के हाथों में तिरंगा था और उसे वे लहरा रहे थे। राष्ट्रीय पर्वों पर देशभक्ति की ऊर्जा और उत्साह देखना हो तो विद्यालय से बढ़कर दूसरी जगह नहीं हो सकती। ऐसा ही कुछ नज़ारा था सागर पब्लिक स्कूल कटारा एक्सटेंशन का। गणतंत्र दिवस का उत्साह और उमंग बच्चों और शिक्षकों के चेहरों के साथ उनकी वेशभूषा पर भी पर स्पष्ट झलक रहा था।बच्चों द्वारा प्रस्तुत देशभक्ति नृत्य, गीत और देशप्रेम से ओतप्रोत भाषण में गणतंत्र की महिमा को दर्शाया गया था। छात्राओं ने मध्यप्रदेश का लोकनृत्य "नोरता" की शानदार प्रस्तुति दी ।\r\nसबसे पहले प्राचार्य श्रीमती प्राची वर्मा ने ध्वजारोहण से कार्यक्रम की शुरुआत की। अपने उद्बोधन में प्राचार्य ने कहा_\r\nभारत का गणतंत्र 75 सालों बाद भी विश्व के लिए मिसाल बना हुआ है। विश्व में जब भी गणतंत्र की बात होती है भारत का उदाहरण दिया जाता है। हमने साल दर साल इसे बेहतर से बेहतर बनाने की दिशा में काम किया है। प्राचार्य के उद्बोधन के बाद रंगारंग सांस्कृतिक कार्यक्रम से गणतंत्र दिवस का समापन हुआ। सर्वश्रेष्ठ सदन का पुरस्कार टैगोर सदन ने अपने नाम किया इसके बाद मिष्टान्न वितरण के साथ कार्यक्रम का समापन हुआ ।\r\nपेश है उसकी कुछ झलकियाँ ---

Annual Sports Day 2024
The much-awaited Annual Sports Day for the academic year 2024-25 was held at Sagar Public School Katara Extension on December 24, 2024. The event, filled with enthusiasm and sportsmanship, brought together students, teachers, and distinguished guests for a day of athletic excellence.\r\n\r\nMr. Satish, a former state cricketer and founder of Corefit, Bhopal, graced the occasion as the chief guest, officially declaring the event open. The celebrations began with the symbolic torch run, followed by the March Past, showcasing the discipline of the four houses: Aurobindo, Gandhi, Tagore, and Vivekananda. Students also presented mass drills, yoga, and self-defense displays, highlighting their physical and mental strength.\r\n\r\nVivekananda House was crowned Sports Champion of the Year, demonstrating exceptional skill and teamwork. The Best Athlete Awards were presented to Mridul Naidu and Vaishnavi Patel (Class IX) for their outstanding performances.\r\n\r\nOverall, the event was a resounding success, emphasizing the values of teamwork, discipline, and sportsmanship, and leaving lasting memories of effort, resilience, and joy.

Sagar Utsav - Winter Carnival 2024
Sagar Public School, Katara Extension hosted the illustrious and distinguished\r\nSagar Utsav:,the Annual Winter Carnival 2024 that was a resounding success, bringing together the community to celebrate the festive season with fun, entertainment, and activities for all age groups. The event featured a blend of traditional and modern attractions, ensuring there was something for everyone. The key highlights of the event was ramp walk, group dance performance, magic show, character parade, solo song competition, lucky draw, creative workshops like candle and chocolate making, mehendi, gift wrapping, tattoo and nail art workshops and many more. A dedicated physical Fitness Zone and Game Zone were the major attractions .Food stalls featured a variety of cuisines and festive treats.\r\nAttendees praised the diverse attractions and family-friendly atmosphere.

Sagar Sports Spectacle 2024
The Sagar Sports Spectacle started with great zeal and vigour on the grounds of Sagar Public School, Katara Extension. A three-day event starting from November 27, 2024, where students from schools across Bhopal participated in Open speed Skating competition and Futsal competition and saw a turnout of 590 students in Skating and 14 teams in Futsal.\r\nOn its inaugural day, the event showcased athletic excellence, uniting schools and students under the banner of healthy competition and team spirit. \r\nThe young (male) sports prodigies competed under age categories 4 to 14 for tenacity, quads and inline skating categories whereas the school teams competed in the Futsal field for the ultimate showdown.\r\nThe school will witness the finale of Futsal tournament as well as girls' open speed skating competition. The event will culminate by recognising and celebrating the outstanding achievements of the participants.

Synergia- Confluence of Cultures
Sagar Public School, Katara Extension, dazzled an audience of dignitaries, parents, and esteemed guests at its Senior Annual Function, titled Synergia: The Confluence of Cultures on November 14, 2024. The evening, a magnificent fusion of history, mythology, and cultural heritage, highlighted the talent, creativity, and dedication of Sagarites.\r\nThe Chief Guest, Professor Lopamudra Dewan, who leads the Center for Teaching and Learning at IIM Bangalore, and the Guest of Honour, Brigadier Anil Das graced the function. \r\nEach performance exemplified the essence of Synergia, celebrating the unity and diversity of world cultures. The “Musical Mosaic” enthralled the audience with its eclectic blend of classical and contemporary art forms. The Greek Odyssey presented the tale of Icarus, conveying a timeless message on the balance between ambition and wisdom.\r\nThe dramatic presentation of Sentinel of Asgard: The Norse Chronicles, narrated with intensity conveyed the audience that, “A true warrior stands as a shield, not for conquest but for compassion,” This was followed by The Feather’s Measure: Balance of the Nile, where Ma’at, the Egyptian goddess of truth and balance, inspired the audience to value integrity and fairness. The highlight of the evening was the performance of Karan: Sangharsh Ki Anant Yatra, a moving portrayal of Karna's honour and resilience. The grand finale, celebrated the ideals of Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam—“The world is one family”—brought to life through choreography and verse, enveloping the audience in the spirit of universal kinship. \r\nThe Principal, Ms. Prachi Varma, took the stage to present the Annual Report, a testament to the school’s academic achievements, extracurricular milestones, and cultural growth, which left parents and guests brimming with pride.\r\nThe evening concluded with a vote of thanks by Vice Principal Ms. Deepika Raj Bhagat, who acknowledged the dedication of students, teachers, and parents, making the event a grand success.
