ASPIRE Session held for classes IX & X @SPSKE

ASPIRE Session on Antibiotics: Benefits and Risks by Dr. Ahmad Najmi. Dr. Ahmad Najmi, Additional Professor in the Department of Pharmacology at AIIMS Bhopal, conducted an ASPIRE session for IX-X students on antibiotics, focusing on benefits, risks, and preventing resistance. Various methods and tips to prevent antibiotic resistance, judicious use of antibiotics, completing the full course, not sharing antibiotics, and practicing good hygiene were elaborated. SCIENTIA an Inter House Quiz Competition held for classes IX-X @SPSKE

“The whole purpose of education is to turn mirrors into windows.” The Science Department of Sagar Public School Katara Extension, successfully conducted the Interhouse Science Quiz – Scientia – for the students of classes IX and X. AI in education is not about machines teaching humans, but about empowering humans to teach and learn better.” Sagar Public school, Katara Extension hosted an exciting competition, “AI Speak-up for Classes VI to VIII. The event encouraged students to explore the fascinating world of Artificial Intelligence by creating and presenting insightful PowerPoint presentations. Participants showcased their understanding of AI concepts, real-world applications, and future possibilities with creativity, research, and confidence. “When gratitude becomes a celebration, hearts dance louder than music.” Teachers’ Day 2025 at Sagar Public School, Katara Extension was a heartfelt tribute to the magicians of life — the teachers. The day unfolded with the Lighting of the Lamp, soulful songs, graceful Guru Vandana, engaging Dumbcharades & Hookstep challenges, creative skit & shayari, a lively group dance, and a touching video tribute to the gurus.\r\nThe Head Boy welcomed the gathering, the Principal’s address inspired all, and the Vote of Thanks by the Head Girl wrapped the event with warmth and gratitude. Puppet show was organised for the young sagarites @SPSKE

"Puppets are voices of dreams that dance with strings." A vibrant and joyful morning unfolded at SPSKE on September 2, 2025, as the school had the honour of welcoming the renowned Dolls Theatre from Kolkata, led by the acclaimed puppeteer Mr. Sudeep Gupta and his talented team. Dolls Theatre had represented India at various national and international puppet theatre festivals. The event commenced with a warm welcome and highlighting the magic of puppetry as an art form that blends storytelling, music, dance, and meaningful messages. The featured show, "Taming of the Wild", promised a captivating performance where puppets came alive — speaking, singing, dancing and narrating stories that imparted important values. Students of classes KG-II to IV were completely engaged and mesmerized throughout the show. Laughter, curiosity, and applause filled the auditorium as the story unfolded.The unique blend of artistry and education made the event a memorable learning experience.

राजभाषा हिंदी माह का आयोजन @सागर पब्लिक स्कूल कटारा एक्सटेंशन

छात्रों में हिंदी भाषा के प्रति प्रेम, रुचि और सम्‍मान की भावना विकसित करने सोमवार 01 सितम्बर को सागर पब्लिक स्कूल कटारा एक्सटेंशन में कक्षा छठवीं से आठवीं के छात्रों द्वारा साहित्यिक विमर्श कार्यक्रम का आयोजन किया गया। हिंदी माह के इस आयोजन में विभिन्न सांस्कृतिक कार्यक्रमों के अंतर्गत हिंदी भाषा की महानता पर भाषण, कवियों का कवित्वमय जीवन परिचय और हिंदी भाषा पर नृत्य को सम्मिलित किया गया। कार्यक्रम का समापन प्रधानाचार्य प्राची वर्मा जी के आशीर्वचन के साथ हुआ। प्राचार्य ने हिंदी भाषा के महत्व को बताते हुए इसे जीवन की भाषा बताया। प्रस्तुत हैं कार्यक्रम की कुछ झलकियां !

National Sports Day was celebrated @SPSKE

Sagar Public School Katara Extension celebrated National Sports Day with great enthusiasm. The event was graced by the presence of Ms. Babita Tomar as the Chief Guest. Ms Tomar is an International Judo player, Commonwealth Medalist, recipient of the prestigious Vikram Award, and presently serving as the District Sports Officer in Bhopal. Her presence not only inspired the students but also motivated them to pursue excellence in both sports and performing arts with equal zeal. On this occasion, achievers of CBSE and SGFI Sports Competitions were felicitated for their outstanding performances and dedication. Along with sports achievers, students who excelled in the field of performing arts were also honored with cash prizes for their remarkable achievements in Kala Utsav and Bal Rang. The event continued with the display of various asanas of our Yoga students, followed by Judo and Zumba showcasing a variety of sports performances that highlighted the spirit of fitness, teamwork, and discipline among students. SPS Katara Extension proudly hosted MathsMarathon2K25!

"Mathematics is not about numbers, equations, computations, or algorithms; it is about understanding." – William Paul Thurston. Sagar Public School, Katara Extension, proudly hosted the Inter-School Maths Marathon on 23rd August 2025, celebrating analytical thinking and problem-solving excellence. The event commenced with a graceful Lamp Lighting Ceremony, attended by the esteemed Chief Guest Dr. Sandeep Diwakar (associated with the Azim Premji Foundation since 2012), our respected Dean Dr. Madhubala Ma’am, and Principal Prachi Verma Ma’am. A total of 21 enthusiastic teams showcased their brilliance, tackling challenging problems involving numbers (√, π, ∑, ∆) and logical reasoning. After several thrilling rounds, Sagar Public School, Katara Extension clinched the Winner’s Trophy along with a cheque of ₹12,000. The Runner-Up position was bagged by Jawaharlal Nehru School, whose team was awarded the Runner-Up Trophy and a cheque of ₹9,000. This event was not just a competition; it was a celebration of the joy of numbers, the spirit of healthy competition, and the drive for intellectual growth among young learners. An ASPIRE visit was organised for the Sagarites of SPSKE @NLIU

Campus Immersion at NLIU Bhopal – A Step Towards Law as a Career. On 19th August, 30 students from Classes X–XII of SPS Katara Extension visited the National Law Institute University (NLIU), Bhopal under the ASPIRE VISIT. The visit began with an interaction in classrooms, followed by a tour of the unique brain-shaped library built with natural light. Students were amazed by its vast digital resources of over 1 million e-books and 1 billion journals. They then explored the sports complex, which offered indoor games like badminton, snooker, and gymnasium, along with outdoor facilities such as a lawn tennis court. At the Convention Centre, they admired trophies and awards won by NLIU students. The tour concluded with hostel and guest house visits. The clean, green and vibrant campus left a lasting impression, motivating students to dream big and consider law as a future career.

The Inter-School Open Tennis Championship 2025 concluded on a high note, celebrating not just champions but the relentless zeal, discipline, and camaraderie displayed by every participant.
