All the world's a stage, And all the men and women merely players They have their exits and their entrances And one man in his time plays many parts The English Department of Sagar Public School Katara Extension proudly hosted the Annual English Day Celebration themed 'A Journey through Shakespeare' on 30th of April 2025. The event aimed to honor the richness of the English language and pay tribute to the legendary playwright, William Shakespeare, whose timeless works continue to inspire students and literature lovers around the world. The program began with a PPT presentation showcasing contributions of Shakespeare to the English language. A brief presentation introduced Shakespeare’s life, his influence, and his enduring legacy.His famous plays were enacted on the stage by the Sagarites to understand the intricacies of Shakespeare’s work. PTM-I for the Session 2025-26

*Building a Strong Parent-Teacher Partnership*At Sagar Public School, Katara Extension, we believe that education is a collaborative journey between parents and teachers. This spirit of partnership was beautifully reflected during the Parents Teachers Meeting held on *Saturday, April 26, 2025*, for Classes Nursery to XII. World Heritage Day Celebration

Heritage is a present from our ancestors, respect it, preserve it. Our heritage serves as a reminder of our history. It is a national treasure as well as a symbol of the civilization pride. In accordance with this thought the students of classes VI-VIII of Katara Extension celebrated the World Heritage Day and presented amazing facts about different monuments and temples through mesmerizing presentation and role play which reflected the spirit of our rich historical past and the importance of preserving it for future. Orientation Session for Classes VI-VIII

To kickstart the new academic Session 2025–26 with clarity and collaboration, an Orientation Programme was conducted for the parents of students in Classes VI to VIII.\r\nThe session was started with the traditional Lamp Lightning ceremony followed by the comprehensive introduction to the school’s system and ethos. \r\nParents were briefed on the curriculum structure, assessment patterns, school rules and regulations, as well as the various facilities and technologies integrated into our teaching-learning process. \r\nThe programme also shed light on the support systems available for students and the seamless communication channels between school and home.\r\nIn addition, parents were informed about the integrated classes offered for students of Classes IX to XII — a step towards ensuring focused academic preparation and holistic development in the senior years.\r\nThe session was conducted by Vice Principal,Headmistress and the Section Supervisors.\r\nThe session witnessed active participation from parents during the Open House hour, reflecting a shared commitment to the students’ growth and success. \r\nWe look forward to a fruitful and enriching academic year ahead!\r\nLets have a look at the glimpses!

Final PTM for Session 2024-25

"A key to child's success is the positive involvement of parents"\r\nFinal PTM for the Session 2024-25 for classes Nursery to VIII was conducted at SPSKE on Wednesday 26th March, 2025 . Parents of students met the concerned educators to get clarity on the performance of their wards. Teachers interacted with parents making them aware about their children’s strength and area of improvement.\r\nThe Report Card for Final Term was handed over to the parents and answer sheets were also shown to them. Various suggestions given by the parents were noted. The students were counseled in the presence of their parents to develop regular study habit.\r\nThe PTM came to an end with the conclusion that joint effort, mutual understanding and co-operation of parents and teachers is very important for the progress of the students.\r\nHave a look at the glimpses!

Orientation Programme for the new parents for the Session 2025-26

Sagar Public School, Katara Extension organised an Orientation Programme for the new parents for the Session 2025-26 on Saturday, March 22nd, 2025 in order to familiarize them with the school systems. \r\nThe essence of the auspicious day was showcased stressing on the firm belief in education and the overall development of young minds. The programme commenced with the lighting of the lamp to begin the new Academic Session 2025-26 with the divine blessings of God Almighty. Principal Ms.Prachi Varma enlightened the parents with her address stressing on the school’s vision of being progressive and child centric. In her dynamic speech she unfolded the school ethos, philosophy and broad practices of the school.She also briefed about the Sagar Group. \r\nThe Vice Principal and the Head Mistresses of all the sections presented a detailed description of the learning parameters and the teaching and learning pedagogy followed in the school. \r\nThe session concluded with an Open House session in which Madam Principal readily answered the questions of the parents. Graduation Ceremony - KG II

What a wonderful and heartwarming day it has been at the Graduation Ceremony ????for the students of Class KG II! \r\nThe event started with a beautiful Swagat Vandan, setting the tone for a day filled with joy and celebration. Our little stars showcased their growth and learning through a delightful skit where they portrayed their teachers, giving everyone a glimpse into the knowledge they’ve gained throughout the year. The children brought the stage to life with vibrant performances, including dances in Punjabi and Marathi, reflecting the languages they’ve been learning in their Multilingual Classes. Their infectious energy and joy truly made the event special! \r\nA touching moment came when the children sang a heartfelt thank-you song, expressing their love and appreciation for their teachers. The school was honoured to have Mr. Manoj Kukreja as the chief guest, who motivated the students with inspiring words, encouraging them to keep striving for greatness. Madam Principal, Ms. Prachi Varma, also addressed the students, sharing her wisdom and urging them to always embrace learning with open hearts.
