“Art is the soul's language, and in every stroke, reflects the whispers of creativity.” ‘The Art and Creation’ Exhibition held at SPSKE on January 13, 2024, served as a vibrant showcase for the innate talents and creative brilliance of the students. The primary objective was to unveil the artistic skills nurtured within them, providing an ideal platform for students from classes I to VIII and XI to present a diverse array of beautiful articles crafted throughout the academic year. Each displayed item reflected the meticulous handiwork of the students, showcasing their creativity using indigenous materials. The exhibition featured dedicated sections highlighting various forms of art, including captivating wall hangings, intricately designed jewellery, eco-friendly Jute Baskets, imaginative candle and bottle art, and a myriad of other visually stunning creations. This event not only celebrated the students' artistic achievements but also underscored the school's commitment to fostering a creative and enriching learning environment.

Annual Sports Day
Strive for excellence, play with passion, and let the spirit of sportsmanship illuminate the path to victory.” In a vibrant display of enthusiasm and sportsmanship, Sagar Public School Katara Extension hosted its Annual Sports Day on December 23, for the academic year 2023-24. The event, held on the school's sprawling campus, brought together students, teachers and esteemed guest to celebrate the spirit of athletics and teamwork. The chief guest, Dr. Rajesh Tripathi, Principal of VNS College of Physical Education and Management Studies, Bhopal, and Chairman of the All India Council of Physical Education, offered valuable insights and declared the sports meet officially open. His words motivated and inspired the participants. The torch run, symbolizing the flame of sports, involved students passing the torch through various positions, representing the strength and unity of SPSKE. The event showcased mass drill, yoga, and self-defence displays, highlighting the students' physical and mental prowess. The triathlon, a thrilling amalgamation of three races, marked a pulse-racing event, showcasing the athletic skill of students. Position holders and achievers were felicitated, acknowledging their hard work and dedication. Madam Principal officially declared the closure of the Annual Sports Meet. The sports flag was retrieved, symbolizing the end of the event. The Annual Sports Day at SPSKE proved to be a triumphant event, cultivating an atmosphere of friendly competition, teamwork, and sportsmanship among the students.

"Christmas is the spirit of giving without a thought of getting" As the festive season unfolded, our school came alive with the spirit of Christmas during a special assembly dedicated to commemorating the birth of Christ. The celebration commenced with a heartfelt reflection on the significance of Christmas, emphasizing the story of the birth of Christ.The combination of carols, dance, and the joy of giving created an atmosphere of warmth, unity, and benevolence, making it a truly magical and meaningful Christmas celebration for all. Amidst the celebration, students embraced the true essence of Christmas through a "Joy of Giving" activity by distributing grains and stationery to didis and bhaiyas.

"CHRYSALIS: Vistas of Transformation" Unveiled at Sagar Public School, Katara Extension The Annual Function 2023-24 at Sagar Public School, Katara Extension, unfolded as a magnificent celebration of talent and transformation across all classes from I to XI. Themed "CHRYSALIS: Vistas of Transformation," the event commenced with a grand Guard of Honour, welcoming the esteemed Chief Guest, Dr. Pragyesh Kumar Agrawal, Dr. Swapnil Garde - Consultant, Interventional Cardiology Service at Sagar Multispeciality Hospital as Guest of Honour and other dignitaries. The ceremonial lighting of the lamp, symbolizing the invocation of wisdom and learning, set the spiritual tone for the evening. The performances, ranging from a delightful rendition of "Charlie and the Chocolate Factory" by Class I students to the heartwarming play "Magic of the Lost Temple (NAVONMESH)" presented by Class II students, showcased the students' creativity and conveyed meaningful messages about positivity and resilience. The evening also featured a mesmerizing fusion of music, the English play, "The Triumph of Tenacity," delved into the extraordinary journey of Helen Keller, highlighting the pivotal role played by her great mentor, showcasing moments of breakthrough and resilience. Through skillful choreography and compelling acting, the students depicted Ashoka's evolution, showcasing his conquests, internal conflicts, and, most importantly, his eventual embrace of Buddhism and commitment to non-violence. The Principal, Ms. Prachi Varma presented the Annual Report ,charting a comprehensive overview of the school's achievements, milestones, and academic progress. The event culminated with a powerful grand finale, celebrating India's emergence as Vishwa guru. ‘The Vote of Thanks’ was extended by the Vice Principal, Ms. Deepika Raj Bhagat followed by the National anthem. The event left a lasting impression, fostering a sense of pride and inspiration and undoubtedly be remembered as a milestone in the school's journey towards academic and cultural excellence. The audience, including parents, guests, and school staff, played an integral role in making the evening a resounding success, emphasizing the collective spirit of the School.

Pre-Primary Annual Function

The Sagar Public School, Katara Extension, Bhopal, celebrated its third Annual Cultural Function, titled " Resplendence," with great enthusiasm and vigor on the 21st of October, 2023. The program was a grand success, with various performances that captivated the audience, leaving them with a lasting impression of the cultural diversity and traditions of India. The event commenced with the traditional lighting of the lamp, symbolizing the triumph of light over darkness. The welcome song by the students of KG-II set the stage for a day filled with music, dance, and vibrant performances. The highlight of the event was a skit that beautifully portrayed India's cultural tapestry, showcasing its unity in diversity. The skit conveyed the values of family, respect for elders, and the importance of community in Indian culture. Ms. Prachi Varma, the school's principal, presented the annual report, highlighting the significance of education and the transformative journey of the school. The chief guest, Dr. Madhu Chanchlani, Director of Ophthalmology in Sagar Multispeciality Bhopal, added a touch of grace and wisdom to the event with her speech. Her achievements and dedication to her profession served as an inspiration to all present. The event featured various dance performances representing different states and countries of the world such as Kashmiri, Spanish, Mexican, Oriya, Egyptian, Arabic, Chinese, Punjabi, Gujarati, Marathi, and Kerala The program concluded with a heartwarming vote of thanks by Ms. Arpita Karmalkar, the headmistress of the pre-primary section, expressing gratitude to all the guests, parents, teachers, and students who made the event a grand success. The annual function " Resplendence " not only showcased the rich cultural heritage of India but also left the audience with a deeper understanding of the country's unity in diversity. The Class III Assembly on October 20, 2023, was a mesmerizing and awe-inspiring event that allowed the audience to embark on a journey through the beautiful traditions of celebrating Vijaydashami - "The triumph of good over evil." It served as a vibrant tribute to the victories of Lord Rama over Ravana and the triumph of Goddess Durga over Mahishasur in order to safeguard the world. The students' enthralling dance performance infused the audience with joy and devotion, setting the stage for a delightful experience. The entire epic journey of Ramayana was masterfully depicted through a captivating skit that transported everyone into the heart of the story. The assembly concluded with a motivational message from our esteemed Madam Principal, leaving an indelible mark of inspiration and unity among all.

The primary goal of this meeting was to establish a common platform where teachers and parents could engage in meaningful dialogue. Inter-house Judo competition
Judokas unite to concentrate on one goal: Victory! Go harder, go stronger, and go faster than you ever have before… AND — keep your cool. I'm going to make the most of every opportunity. An Inter-house Judo competition brought together participants from classes IV to X, showcasing the embodiment of zeal, determination, and discipline. The atmosphere was charged with the spirit of healthy competition and sportsmanship, as the students embraced the core principles of Judo both on and off the mat. In the arena, the participants displayed a symphony of Judo techniques, each move carrying the weight of tradition and the echoes of etiquette upheld by this ancient Japanese martial art. The unwavering commitment of the students was further honed under the watchful eye of our dedicated Judo coach, who skillfully nurtured their techniques and abilities. And now, as the dust settles on the tatami mats, the results stand as a testament to the hard work and perseverance exhibited by all: Aurobindo House - I Tagore House - II Gandhi/Vivekananda House - III Congratulations to all participants for making this event a true celebration of strength, skill, and sportsmanship. Independence Day Celebration 2023
स्वतंत्रता दिवस के शुभ अवसर पर स्वतंत्रता सेनानियों का स्मरण कर सागर में उमड़ी देशभक्ति की लहरें देश भक्ति गीतों की स्वर लहरियाँ स्वातंत्र्य पर्व की गरिमा बढ़ा रही थी। नन्हे मुन्नों के माथे और गालों पर बनी तीन रंगों की छाप तिरंगे की आन बान शान की झलक के साथ देश के प्रति श्रद्धा भाव व्यक्त कर रही थी। देश के शीर्ष पर चमकते हिमालय की तरह तिरंगा अपने शिखर से बंधा था, प्रतीक्षा थी उन क्षणों की जब इसे मुक्त कर खुली हवा में स्वतंत्र कर दिया जाएगा और चारों ओर ये पंक्तियाँ गुंजायमान होंगी... दिनों दिन बुलंदियों पर तिरंगा चढ़ता रहें। तिरंगे के लिए हमारे दिल में हर पल प्यार बढ़ता रहें।। अवसर था सागर पब्लिक स्कूल, कटारा एक्सटेंशन ,भोपाल में 77 वें स्वतंत्रता दिवस पर्व के आयोजन का। सागर परिवार का प्रत्येक सदस्य देश भक्ति ,देश प्रेम से ओतप्रोत था। प्राचार्या महोदया ने ओजमई राष्ट्रगान के साथ झंडा वंदन किया। उनके प्रेरक उद्बोधन से प्रेरणा लेकर सभी ने स्वतंत्रता की रक्षा का संकल्प लिया। जहाँ एक ओर देश भक्ति गीत, हिंदी कविता, समूह नृत्य जैसी सांस्कृतिक गतिविधियों की श्रृंखला ने समा बांधा तो दूसरी ओर हेड बॉय चिराग मालवीय के ओजस्वी भाषण ने सबमें जोश भर दिया। अंत में प्राचार्या महोदया ने विद्यार्थियों को देश के प्रति निष्ठा एवं जिम्मेदारी निभाने का संकल्प दिलाया। मिष्ठान्न वितरण के साथ कार्यक्रम का समापन हुआ।
