To illuminate the Sagarites of Classes VI to IX, an ASPIRE session was conducted by Dr. Sapna Bajaj Jain, an obstetrician and gynecologist, alongside Dr. Nikhil Jain, a consultant at Sagar Multi-speciality Hospital, Bhopal. The session, titled "Growing up as an Adolescent," focused on the importance of personal hygiene and the various issues related to adolescence. With the conviction that true wealth lies in health and self-awareness, the session delved into the intricacies of adolescence. Dr. Nikhil Jain discussed the characteristic features of this pivotal stage and offered strategies for optimal growth. Students engaged actively, asking questions which were thoroughly addressed by Dr. Jain, making the session both informative and interactive.

*SPECTRUM 2k24: An Exquisite Exposition of Viksit Bharat ????????* Sagar Public School Katara Extension proudly unveiled SPECTRUM 2k24, themed "Viksit Bharat - Inspiring and Empowering the Generation." Distinguished Chief Guest Prof. Dr. Amarjeet Singh Khalsa, Group Director of IPER and a luminary in education, finance, and management, graced the exhibition along with esteemed judges. The event featured an impressive array of student projects, presentations, and performances centered around the theme. This prestigious annual exhibition showcased the intellectual brilliance and creative prowess of students from classes V to IX. The English Pavilion delved into the nuanced impact of social media, while the Social Studies section meticulously illustrated India’s evolution in Parliament, judiciary, infrastructure and innovations in agriculture. The Hindi Section celebrated the monumental strides in women’s empowerment and educational advancements. The Science Domain enthralled attendees with pioneering innovations in medicine, agriculture, genetics, and visions of futuristic cities. The Sanskrit Corner underscored the enduring significance of the classical language, and the Mathematics Arena presented an elegant analysis of statistical growth across various sectors. SPECTRUM 2k24 exquisitely encapsulated the vision of a developed Bharat through the ingenuity of our young Sagarites, leaving a lasting impression on all.

Foundation Day and Investiture Ceremony
"Celebrating Foundation Day is not just about looking back at our achievements, but also about setting new goals for the future. Together, we build a legacy of excellence." The two most auspicious occasions of SPSKE, the 6th Foundation Day and the Investiture Ceremony were celebrated with great zeal and enthusiasm on July 1, 2024. It was a momentous occasion to reflect on the achievements and growth of the school over the past five years. The event commenced with a captivating dance performance which deeply moved the audience. Madam Principal reflected on the past five years, expressing gratitude and acknowledging the milestones achieved, and growth experienced by the school. She also congratulated the meritorious students and their parents who received scholarship for class X board and XI examination, on this special occasion. On the same day, the school celebrated its Investiture Ceremony. The event was graced by Colonel Shubhash Chand Punia, recipient of Kirti Chakra Award who came for the outreach programme and motivated students to join the defence forces. The newly elected student council and cabinet members participated in a well-coordinated march past and received their prestigious flags, badges, and sashes from the Chief Guest, Director Dubey Sir, Principal, Vice-Principal, and Head Mistresses. The student council took a solemn oath to dispense their duties with integrity, faith, and excellence. The chief guest congratulated the teachers for their efforts in shaping future generations and advised students to respect their parents, devote time to academics, and work hard to achieve their goals. He also urged the audience to use helmets for their safety. The event concluded with the Head Boy, Dhananjay Kumar, officially accepting the duties and responsibilities on behalf of the student council. The soulful melodies of the singers were enjoyed by everyone. The Head Girl, Arnika Raje Singh Sisodia, proposed the vote of thanks. The ceremony ended with the school anthem and jubilation. ASPIRE Session by Mr. Yogesh Khakre

If you love what you are doing, you will be successful." – Albert Schweitzer An ASPIRE session was conducted for classes IX to XII by the ASPIRE guest Mr. Yogesh Khakre to change the mindsets of students and gain direction. The advantages of being teenagers were beautifully highlighted through interactive session. It started with performing several asanas, including Tadasana, to promote physical and mental well-being. Our esteemed speaker addressed the Sagarites as "super teens," emphasizing the importance of a positive approach to thrive and shape our nation over the next 50 years. He acknowledged the unique challenges faced by teenagers but encouraged living in the moment—day by day, hour by hour—without procrastination. The key he gave was to start early, stay focused, and work towards growing rich in all aspects of life. Drawing from his own life experiences, he shared stories to inspire. He stressed the importance of identifying a target audience that has both need and resources. The opportunities are vast, but smart work is essential. The session concluded with a Q&A, allowing students to dive deeper into these insights. This event was a true inspiration, equipping us with the tools and mindset to achieve greatness. Summer Camp 2024-25
The summer camp at Sagar Public School, Katara Extension, was inaugurated on May 1, 2024, with great enthusiasm and a vibrant spirit. The opening ceremony was graced by Capt. Dr. Sarita Kushwah, the event's esteemed chief guest. The lighting of the ceremonial lamp marked the beginning of the camp. The Principal, Ms. Prachi Varma addressed the gathering, underscoring the significance of the summer camp and its role in fostering sportsmanship, camaraderie, and skill development among the students. Her speech motivated the students, reminding them that "the sky is the limit." Capt. Dr. Sarita Kushwah, an NCC officer with numerous accolades, then took the stage, sharing her insights and encouraging the young participants to pursue their dreams with determination and perseverance. The interactive session, led by Dr. Anuj Jain, a distinguished expert in marketing and consumer behavior, offered a wealth of advice to students who are navigating their academic and career journeys. Students asked questions related to their career aspirations and study habits. Dr. Jain addressed their queries and emphasized that India offers ample job opportunities across various industries. He encouraged them to be proactive and to explore different career options. The key to success, he said, lies in consistent effort. Whether it’s preparing for exams or pursuing a career, perseverance is crucial. Dr. Jain advised students to concentrate on their current studies, particularly school and board exams. English Day Celebration
"English Indian writers have made significant contributions to literature, blending their cultural heritage with the English language to create a unique and rich literary landscape." The English Day celebration at SPSKE proved to be a resounding success, offering a vibrant showcase of the talent and dedication of Sagarites from various classes, each focusing on the works of prominent Indian English writers. Students from Class VI captivated the audience with their presentation on R.K. Narayan's timeless story, providing a vivid glimpse into the idyllic world of Malgudi. The talented students from Class VII then shared their insights on Vikram Seth's iconic poem, "The Frog and the Nightingale." They dissected the symbolism, characters, and underlying messages, shedding light on the themes of talent, exploitation, and the pursuit of artistic fulfillment. Class VIII took the stage with their exploration of Rabindranath Tagore's poignant poem, "The Unworthy Gift." Their interpretation delved into the layers of spiritualism and materialism. Class IX presented a captivating analysis of Sudha Murty's enchanting short story, "How I Taught My Grandmother to Read." This heartwarming tale resonated with the audience, showcasing the transformative power of literacy and the beautiful bonds of love and family. The diligent students from Classes X to XII took the audience on a journey through Anees Jung's compelling narrative, "The Lost Spring." Their presentation focused on themes of the lost childhood of the children who suffer from poverty which forces them to live a life of exploitation and the universal quest for a better life. Overall, the English Day celebration at SPSKE was a celebration of creativity, storytelling, and the timeless influence of Indian English writers. World Heritage Day was celebrated by the Sagarites@ SPSKE
"Inheriting honor is transient, but leaving behind a rich heritage is everlasting." To advocate for the appreciation and safeguarding of cultural diversity, the Social Science Department at SPS KE organized the World Heritage Day Celebration. The event featured an inter-house competition, engaging students from classes IX to XII. Each participating house presented a 3D model and accompanying presentation, followed by a spirited Rebuttal round. With 14 enthusiastic participants from each house, the event culminated in Tagore House emerging as the victor. This celebration served to enlighten students about the cultural significance of four distinct heritage sites worldwide, emphasizing the importance of preserving both tangible and intangible aspects of societies passed down through generations. Parents Orientation Session 2024
"Together may we give our children roots to grow and wings to fly.” An orientation session for the Parents of the students studying in VI to VIII and III to V was hosted at Sagar Public School, Katara Extension on April 13, 2024. It was an informative orientation session, offering a deep insight towards the institution’s policies, educational philosophy, and operational systems. The orientation detailed the curriculum framework and also caricatured the new initiatives taken in the school keeping in mind the overall development of the students for the current academic year. The goal was to create a bond between the school and parents. Parents queries regarding, academics, extracurricular opportunities, teaching methodologies etc too were answered.
