"Dussehra is a reminder that no matter how strong evil may seem, it can never conquer the power of good." The Class III Assembly on October 20, 2023, was a mesmerizing and awe-inspiring event that allowed the audience to embark on a journey through the beautiful traditions of celebrating Vijaydashami - "The triumph of good over evil." It served as a vibrant tribute to the victories of Lord Rama over Ravana and the triumph of Goddess Durga over Mahishasur in order to safeguard the world. The students' enthralling dance performance infused the audience with joy and devotion, setting the stage for a delightful experience. The entire epic journey of Ramayana was masterfully depicted through a captivating skit that transported everyone into the heart of the story. The assembly concluded with a motivational message from our esteemed Madam Principal, leaving an indelible mark of inspiration and unity among all.

On October 7, 2023, Sagar Public School, Katara Extension, hosted a Parents Teachers Meet for the students of Nursery to XI. The primary goal of this meeting was to establish a common platform where teachers and parents could engage in meaningful dialogue. This interaction aimed to foster the holistic development of the students and gather valuable feedback to enhance their educational experiences after the assessments. During this meeting, various facets of the student's development were explored, including peer relationships, behaviour, habits, identifying strengths and addressing challenges, participation in upcoming events, activities, as well as assessments.The feedback received from parents expressed their satisfaction and delight with the school's efforts in enhancing their child's personalities.

Inter-house Judo competition

Judokas unite to concentrate on one goal: Victory! Go harder, go stronger, and go faster than you ever have before… AND — keep your cool. I'm going to make the most of every opportunity. An Inter-house Judo competition brought together participants from classes IV to X, showcasing the embodiment of zeal, determination, and discipline. The atmosphere was charged with the spirit of healthy competition and sportsmanship, as the students embraced the core principles of Judo both on and off the mat. In the arena, the participants displayed a symphony of Judo techniques, each move carrying the weight of tradition and the echoes of etiquette upheld by this ancient Japanese martial art. The unwavering commitment of the students was further honed under the watchful eye of our dedicated Judo coach, who skillfully nurtured their techniques and abilities. And now, as the dust settles on the tatami mats, the results stand as a testament to the hard work and perseverance exhibited by all: Aurobindo House - I Tagore House - II Gandhi/Vivekananda House - III Congratulations to all participants for making this event a true celebration of strength, skill, and sportsmanship. "Rain is grace; rain is the sky condescending to the earth; without rain, there would be no life." Class - Our tiny little sagarites derived pleasure in the monsoon season and performed various activities and inclined towards the feel of mud with their little hands and sensed the mud pie, sailed the paper boat, got inked with vibrant colourful tattoos, made seed balls gracefully, danced in rain and enjoyed relishing corn chat. Independence Day Celebration 2023

स्वतंत्रता दिवस के शुभ अवसर पर स्वतंत्रता सेनानियों का स्मरण कर सागर में उमड़ी देशभक्ति की लहरें देश भक्ति गीतों की स्वर लहरियाँ स्वातंत्र्य पर्व की गरिमा बढ़ा रही थी। नन्हे मुन्नों के माथे और गालों पर बनी तीन रंगों की छाप तिरंगे की आन बान शान की झलक के साथ देश के प्रति श्रद्धा भाव व्यक्त कर रही थी। देश के शीर्ष पर चमकते हिमालय की तरह तिरंगा अपने शिखर से बंधा था, प्रतीक्षा थी उन क्षणों की जब इसे मुक्त कर खुली हवा में स्वतंत्र कर दिया जाएगा और चारों ओर ये पंक्तियाँ गुंजायमान होंगी... दिनों दिन बुलंदियों पर तिरंगा चढ़ता रहें। तिरंगे के लिए हमारे दिल में हर पल प्यार बढ़ता रहें।। अवसर था सागर पब्लिक स्कूल, कटारा एक्सटेंशन ,भोपाल में 77 वें स्वतंत्रता दिवस पर्व के आयोजन का। सागर परिवार का प्रत्येक सदस्य देश भक्ति ,देश प्रेम से ओतप्रोत था। प्राचार्या महोदया ने ओजमई राष्ट्रगान के साथ झंडा वंदन किया। उनके प्रेरक उद्बोधन से प्रेरणा लेकर सभी ने स्वतंत्रता की रक्षा का संकल्प लिया। जहाँ एक ओर देश भक्ति गीत, हिंदी कविता, समूह नृत्य जैसी सांस्कृतिक गतिविधियों की श्रृंखला ने समा बांधा तो दूसरी ओर हेड बॉय चिराग मालवीय के ओजस्वी भाषण ने सबमें जोश भर दिया। अंत में प्राचार्या महोदया ने विद्यार्थियों को देश के प्रति निष्ठा एवं जिम्मेदारी निभाने का संकल्प दिलाया। मिष्ठान्न वितरण के साथ कार्यक्रम का समापन हुआ।

The Parent-Teacher Meeting at SPSKE was successful in fostering a strong partnership between parents and teachers. The open dialogue allowed parents to actively engage in their child's education and provided teachers with valuable feedback. “Joyful Learning Journeys”: Innovative Holiday Homework for Pre-primary and Lower Primary students was displayed in the quadrangle and parents were impressed by the creativity. It was heartening to see parents appreciating their ward’s accomplishments. Also, the Orientation Programme for Class XI was well-attended, with enthusiastic parents present to gain insights into their child's academic journey in the upcoming year. Parents were provided an overview of the school's academic structure, examination pattern, school's disciplinary guidelines, scholarship opportunities, promotion policy, and conduction of CUET/ CLAT classes. This open communication played a crucial role in building a collaborative environment between parents and teachers.

English Debate Competition

A captivating debate competition centered around the topic "AI Art cannot compete with human-created masterpieces" was held on August 9, 2023, showcasing the intellectual prowess and analytical skills of students from classes IX to XI. The event aimed to delve into the intriguing realm of artificial intelligence, creativity, and the boundaries of human expression. The competition's focal point, the juxtaposition of AI-generated art with human-created masterpieces, sparked intense interest among participants and spectators alike. The enthusiasm of participants was palpable as they prepared to defend their stance either in favour of AI art's potential or against its capability to rival human artistic achievements. Madam Principal expressed her pleasure to listen to fresh voices and the emergence of new faces who not only participated but also spoke with such conviction and grace. She also encouraged such endeavors, nurturing the spirit of expression that lies within each one of us.

GOOD FOOD HABIT

"Eating healthy food fills your body with energy and nutrients. Imagine your cells smiling back at you and saying THANK YOU". In today's generation, healthy and unhealthy food plays a big role in the life of children. Thus to state the difference between healthy food and junk food, Sagar Public School, Katara Extension organised an EVS Activity based on My Food Habits for Class I. Students participated with full enthusiasm wearing chef caps and apron as well as arranged the healthy platter. " Let's have a glimpse of the same".

Inter House Folk Dance Competition

“Dancing is like a conversation between two people! Talk, Express yourself, and Enjoy the moment.” Inter House Dance Competition was organised on August 2, 2023, for the students of Classes VI to VIII. The theme for this year's competition was "International Dances” Irish dance, Russian ballet, African dance, and Spanish dance promised a vibrant fusion of cultures through the art of dance. The competition aimed not only to entertain but also to promote cross-cultural understanding and appreciation which was successfully achieved by creating a fun environment promoting teamwork and enthusiasm amongst Sagarites. Mr. Milind Dabhade expertise in contemporary, Hip-hop, Old School, Afro Dance style, and Bollywood, and Ms. Richa Rathore brought their discerning expertise to the forefront, carefully evaluating each dance performance with a keen eye for technique, cultural authenticity, and artistic interpretation, ensuring a fair and insightful assessment of the captivating fusion. Vivekanand House bagged the first position and the runner-up team was Gandhi House.

Inter-House Patriotic Song Competition

An INTERHOUSE GROUP SONG COMPETITION was organized for the students of classes III to V, which successfully achieved its objectives by creating an environment of healthy rivalry, promoting teamwork, and instilling a sense of confidence and enthusiasm in the young participants. It celebrated the students' musical abilities and patriotic spirit while fostering a sense of unity and pride within each house. Notably, each house showcased their expertise in voice modulation, pitch, and tone, highlighting their musical talents and skills.To add to the overall experience, all the houses dressed up according to the theme, making the event visually appealing. The competition culminated with Madam principal's cheering and encouraging words, which undoubtedly served as a source of motivation and inspiration for the students.
