Basant Panchmi marks the beginning of the joyous season of spring. The young Sagarities, at SPSKE, celebrated this festival to honour Goddess Saraswati, the Goddess of knowledge, music and learning. The day began with a special pooja and children of Class III had the opportunity to start writing in new, decorated copy and pen to begin a new phase of their academic journey. It was celebrated with zeal and enthusiasm as it holds a significance in the lives of students. The chief guest, Dr. Rajesh Tripathi, Principal of VNS College of Physical Education and Management Studies, Bhopal, and Chairman of the All India Council of Physical Education, offered valuable insights and declared the sports meet officially open. His words motivated and inspired the participants. The torch run, symbolizing the flame of sports, involved students passing the torch through various positions, representing the strength and unity of SPSKE. The event showcased mass drill, yoga, and self-defence displays, highlighting the students' physical and mental prowess. The triathlon, a thrilling amalgamation of three races, marked a pulse-racing event, showcasing the athletic skill of students. Themed "CHRYSALIS: Vistas of Transformation," the event commenced with a grand Guard of Honour, welcoming the esteemed Chief Guest, Dr. Pragyesh Kumar Agrawal, Dr. Swapnil Garde - Consultant, Interventional Cardiology Service at Sagar Multispeciality Hospital as Guest of Honour and other dignitaries. The ceremonial lighting of the lamp, symbolizing the invocation of wisdom and learning, set the spiritual tone for the evening. The performances, ranging from a delightful rendition of "Charlie and the Chocolate Factory" by Class I students to the heartwarming play "Magic of the Lost Temple (NAVONMESH)" presented by Class II students, showcased the students' creativity and conveyed meaningful messages about positivity and resilience. The evening also featured a mesmerizing fusion of music, the English play, "The Triumph of Tenacity," delved into the extraordinary journey of Helen Keller, highlighting the pivotal role played by her great mentor, showcasing moments of breakthrough and resilience. Through skillful choreography and compelling acting, the students depicted Ashoka's evolution, showcasing his conquests, internal conflicts, and, most importantly, his eventual embrace of Buddhism and commitment to non-violence. The Principal, Ms. Prachi Varma presented the Annual Report ,charting a comprehensive overview of the school's achievements, milestones, and academic progress. The event culminated with a powerful grand finale, celebrating India's emergence as Vishwa guru. ‘The Vote of Thanks’ was extended by the Vice Principal, Ms. Deepika Raj Bhagat followed by the National anthem.
