Janamashtami Celebration

The auspicious occasion of Krishna Janmashtami was celebrated with great fervor and enthusiasm at Sagar Public School, Katara Extension. The students of Classes I-III showcased their talent and devotion through a mesmerizing portrayal of Krishna Janam, followed by a vibrant dance performance on his baal leela. The programme commenced with a soulful group song, which set the tone for the festivities. The students then enacted the birth of Lord Krishna, depicting the divine moments with precision and dedication. The highlight of the event was the 'Matki Fod' ceremony, where students broke earthen pots filled with butter, symbolizing Krishna's mischievous antics. The excitement was palpable as the students cheered and chanted "Hare Krishna Hare Rama" during the ceremony. The celebration culminated with a grand Maha Aarti, where the students and teachers came together to offer prayers and gratitude to Lord Krishna. The auditorium resonated with devotional songs and chants, creating a spiritual ambiance. The event was graced by the presence of our esteemed Director,Dubey sir, Principal, Vice Principal, and teachers, who encouraged and appreciated the students' efforts. स्वतंत्रता दिवस समारोह

"चलो फिर से खुद को जगाएं, स्वतंत्रता के पर्व को उत्साह से मनाएं..." जिस ओर देखो पूरा प्रांगण तिरंगे के रंग से आच्छादित था। रंगीन झंडियां और तिरंगा लहरा लहरा कर स्वतंत्रता दिवस के संदेश को हवा में बिखेर रहा था। बच्चों का उत्साह हवाओं से ज़्यादा वातावरण को मधुमय बना रहा था। सफेद वस्त्रों और तिरंगे के रंगों से सजे परिधान पहने बच्चे और शिक्षक पूरे माहौल को जोश से भर रहे थे। देशभक्ति गीतों ने युवाओं के जोश को दुगना कर दिया था। यह दृश्य था सागर पब्लिक स्कूल कटारा एक्सटेंशन के स्वतंत्रता दिवस समारोह का। यह बात सत्य भी है कि स्वतंत्रता दिवस के उत्सव का स्वाभाविक आनंद केवल विद्यालय में दिखाई पड़ता है। सागर पब्लिक स्कूल कटारा एक्सटेंशन का पूरा प्रांगण मानो खुशियों और उत्साह से सराबोर था। सबसे पहले प्रधानाचार्य सुश्री प्राची वर्मा ने ध्वजारोहण किया और परेड की सलामी ली। प्रधानाचार्य महोदया ने अपने उद्बोधन में स्वतंत्रता दिवस की बधाई देते हुए इसके महत्व पर प्रकाश डाला। कार्यक्रम के अगले चरण में हेड बॉय धनंजय कुमार ने स्वतंत्रता प्राप्त करने के लिए किए गए बलिदानियों के संघर्ष से स्वतंत्रता के अमृत महोत्सव तक की भारत की उपलब्धियों को याद किया। युवा कवि सूर्यांश झा उदित ने अपनी स्वरचित देशभक्तिपूर्ण कविता से युवाओं में जोश जगाया। साथ ही नृत्य के माध्यम से भारत की गौरवमयी इतिहास की झाँकी प्रस्तुत की गई।इसके बाद विद्यालय के विद्यार्थियों ने देशभक्ति गीत और नृत्य से माहौल में उमंग भर दिया। कार्यक्रम के अंत में कल्चरल सेक्रेटरी संचिता ठाकुर ने सभी का धन्यवाद करते हुए, इस जज्बे को हमेशा बनाए रखने पर ज़ोर दिया। मिष्ठान्न वितरण के साथ कार्यक्रम का समापन हुआ।

PTM II

"Success is the sum of small efforts, repeated day in and day out by both parents and teachers." On August 10, 2024, Sagar Public School, Katara Extension, hosted II Parents Teachers Meet for the session 2024-25. This gathering provided a valuable opportunity for parents to engage with class teachers, subject teachers, and activity instructors, fostering a deeper understanding of their child's academic journey. Through discussions focused on the latest assessment results, parents gained insights into their child's progress and areas that require attention. The event was met with appreciation from parents, who recognized the school's dedication to holistic development through various activities and initiatives that strengthen the school-parent connection. The advanced sports program, designed to nurture sportsmanship and physical fitness in students, was particularly praised. Overall, the PTM was a meaningful exchange of ideas and concerns, reinforcing the collaborative effort between educators and parents.

ASPIRE Session by Dr. Mohammad Athar

‘Physical evidence cannot be intimidated, it does not forget It sits there and waits to be detected, preserved, evaluated and explained’ To aware our young Sagarites regarding the advancements and Career aspects in the field of Forensic Science an ASPIRE Session was conducted for Senior students of Sagar Public School,Katara Extension,Bhopal on the Topic: Forensic Science headed by Dr. Mohammad Athar, Assistant professor at Institute of Excellence at Higher Education, IEHE Bhopal. Sir shared his valuable experiences with the young minds and made them aware about the courses and career paths available in the vast field of Forensic Science and Criminology. Inter School Open Tennis Tournament

The Inter-School Open Tennis Tournament 2024-25, hosted by Sagar Public School, Katara Extension, commenced with remarkable splendour. The ceremony featured the distinguished presence of the Chief Guest Mr. J. S Mathur, retired Secretary Govt. of India and Ex member Real Estate Appellate Tribunal Bhopal, along with Mr. Prachit Kumar Shukla Chief Coach in the Sports and Youth Welfare Department of Madhya Pradesh. The event began with the symbolic lighting of the lamp, representing enlightenment and unity. Esteemed participating schools, including The Sanskar Valley School, Bal Bhawan Public School, Sharda Vidya Mandir, Sage International School, Delhi Public Schools, St. Raphael Co-ed School, Billabong International School, Kamla Nehru School, and Sagar Public Schools from various locations, were warmly welcomed. A captivating choir performance and inspiring addresses highlighted the spirit of the tournament. Sports Captain Siddhant Singh Solanki administered the oath, reinforcing the values of fair play. The three-day tournament, till August 3, will see an exciting series of matches on the tennis courts immersing everyone in the competitive spirit of the game.

ASPIRE Session By Dr. Sapna Bajaj Jain and Dr. Nikhil

In this dynamic era of advancement and modernization, it is imperative to make adolescents cognizant of the physical, emotional, and adaptive challenges they face. To illuminate the Sagarites of Classes VI to IX, an ASPIRE session was conducted by Dr. Sapna Bajaj Jain, an obstetrician and gynecologist, alongside Dr. Nikhil Jain, a consultant at Sagar Multi-speciality Hospital, Bhopal. The session, titled "Growing up as an Adolescent," focused on the importance of personal hygiene and the various issues related to adolescence. With the conviction that true wealth lies in health and self-awareness, the session delved into the intricacies of adolescence. Dr. Nikhil Jain discussed the characteristic features of this pivotal stage and offered strategies for optimal growth. Students engaged actively, asking questions which were thoroughly addressed by Dr. Jain, making the session both informative and interactive.

*SPECTRUM 2k24: An Exquisite Exposition of Viksit Bharat ????????* Sagar Public School Katara Extension proudly unveiled SPECTRUM 2k24, themed "Viksit Bharat - Inspiring and Empowering the Generation." Distinguished Chief Guest Prof. Dr. Amarjeet Singh Khalsa, Group Director of IPER and a luminary in education, finance, and management, graced the exhibition along with esteemed judges. The event featured an impressive array of student projects, presentations, and performances centered around the theme. This prestigious annual exhibition showcased the intellectual brilliance and creative prowess of students from classes V to IX. The English Pavilion delved into the nuanced impact of social media, while the Social Studies section meticulously illustrated India’s evolution in Parliament, judiciary, infrastructure and innovations in agriculture. The Hindi Section celebrated the monumental strides in women’s empowerment and educational advancements. The Science Domain enthralled attendees with pioneering innovations in medicine, agriculture, genetics, and visions of futuristic cities. The Sanskrit Corner underscored the enduring significance of the classical language, and the Mathematics Arena presented an elegant analysis of statistical growth across various sectors. SPECTRUM 2k24 exquisitely encapsulated the vision of a developed Bharat through the ingenuity of our young Sagarites, leaving a lasting impression on all.

Foundation Day and Investiture Ceremony

"Celebrating Foundation Day is not just about looking back at our achievements, but also about setting new goals for the future. Together, we build a legacy of excellence." The two most auspicious occasions of SPSKE, the 6th Foundation Day and the Investiture Ceremony were celebrated with great zeal and enthusiasm on July 1, 2024. It was a momentous occasion to reflect on the achievements and growth of the school over the past five years. The event commenced with a captivating dance performance which deeply moved the audience. Madam Principal reflected on the past five years, expressing gratitude and acknowledging the milestones achieved, and growth experienced by the school. She also congratulated the meritorious students and their parents who received scholarship for class X board and XI examination, on this special occasion. On the same day, the school celebrated its Investiture Ceremony. The event was graced by Colonel Shubhash Chand Punia, recipient of Kirti Chakra Award who came for the outreach programme and motivated students to join the defence forces. The newly elected student council and cabinet members participated in a well-coordinated march past and received their prestigious flags, badges, and sashes from the Chief Guest, Director Dubey Sir, Principal, Vice-Principal, and Head Mistresses. The student council took a solemn oath to dispense their duties with integrity, faith, and excellence. The chief guest congratulated the teachers for their efforts in shaping future generations and advised students to respect their parents, devote time to academics, and work hard to achieve their goals. He also urged the audience to use helmets for their safety. The event concluded with the Head Boy, Dhananjay Kumar, officially accepting the duties and responsibilities on behalf of the student council. The soulful melodies of the singers were enjoyed by everyone. The Head Girl, Arnika Raje Singh Sisodia, proposed the vote of thanks. The ceremony ended with the school anthem and jubilation. ASPIRE Session by Ms. Pooja Singh

The ASPIRE session, led by Ms. Pooja Singh, a Social Policy Specialist at UNICEF MP, was conducted for students of classes X to XII at SPSKE. The focus of the session was on Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). Ms. Singh provided an insightful overview of the 17 SDGs, highlighting the importance of universal values and concepts related to sustainable development. She delved deeply into the characteristics of sustainable development and emphasized specific goals such as No Poverty, Gender Equality, and Climate Action. The session was highly interactive, allowing students to engage actively and gain a thorough understanding of the SDG profile. ASPIRE Session by Mr. Yogesh Khakre

"Success is not the key to happiness. Happiness is the key to success. If you love what you are doing, you will be successful." – Albert Schweitzer An ASPIRE session was conducted for classes IX to XII by the ASPIRE guest Mr. Yogesh Khakre to change the mindsets of students and gain direction. The advantages of being teenagers were beautifully highlighted through interactive session. It started with performing several asanas, including Tadasana, to promote physical and mental well-being. Our esteemed speaker addressed the Sagarites as "super teens," emphasizing the importance of a positive approach to thrive and shape our nation over the next 50 years. He acknowledged the unique challenges faced by teenagers but encouraged living in the moment—day by day, hour by hour—without procrastination. The key he gave was to start early, stay focused, and work towards growing rich in all aspects of life. Drawing from his own life experiences, he shared stories to inspire. He stressed the importance of identifying a target audience that has both need and resources. The opportunities are vast, but smart work is essential. The session concluded with a Q&A, allowing students to dive deeper into these insights. This event was a true inspiration, equipping us with the tools and mindset to achieve greatness. Summer Camp 2024-25

The summer camp at Sagar Public School, Katara Extension, was inaugurated on May 1, 2024, with great enthusiasm and a vibrant spirit. The opening ceremony was graced by Capt. Dr. Sarita Kushwah, the event's esteemed chief guest. The lighting of the ceremonial lamp marked the beginning of the camp. The Principal, Ms. Prachi Varma addressed the gathering, underscoring the significance of the summer camp and its role in fostering sportsmanship, camaraderie, and skill development among the students. Her speech motivated the students, reminding them that "the sky is the limit." Capt. Dr. Sarita Kushwah, an NCC officer with numerous accolades, then took the stage, sharing her insights and encouraging the young participants to pursue their dreams with determination and perseverance. Her speech resonated with everyone present, offering valuable guidance and instilling a sense of confidence in the aspiring athletes. The ceremony concluded with the National Anthem, after which group photos were taken to capture the memorable moments. PTM I Session 2024-25

Building a Strong Parent-Teacher Partnership At Sagar Public School, Katara Extension, we believe that education is a collaborative journey between parents and teachers. Parents Teachers Meeting for Classes Nursery to XII, held on April 27, 2024, showcased this partnership in action. The PTM was well-attended by parents, demonstrating their commitment to their children's education. This event offered a valuable opportunity for parents to gain insights into their children's academic progress, and co-curricular activities and to engage in meaningful discussions with teachers. New Parents received personalized reports detailing their children's performance. This clear and straightforward approach allowed parents to understand their child's academic achievements and to identify any areas needing additional focus. It was an excellent opportunity for parents to ask questions, share concerns, and collaborate with teachers on supporting their children's learning journey. Parents expressed their gratitude for the dedication and hard work of the teachers, acknowledging not only their academic guidance but also their efforts to encourage student participation in various extracurricular activities. The PTM provided a forum for building stronger connections between parents, teachers, and students.
